If you look at Tisha's exagerrated provocative dance moves 💃🏽, even to her facial expressions, to the slightest of hand movements --- that is ALL Beyonce'!! Meaning Tisha was the prototype for "Ms. B. 👩🏽🎤" They even look identical in the face in this video thanks to the blonde hair 👱🏽♀️ & light-colored contacts 👁. If Tisha's music 🎶 career had blown up back then, EVERYONE would have said Beyonce' was a "mini-Tisha." Some people act like fame = success. There are lots of ridiculously talented people who will NEVER be known either cuz (1.) they didn't apply themselves; (2.) didn't have the right connections, or (3.) weren't willing 2 sell their soul 2 the devil 😈 for fame in the sick record 💿🎙 industry.

Many people may not remember Tisha Campbell had to sue and received a nice settlement and credit for this song on the soundtrack. Originally credited to The Rays in reference to the fictional sorority represented in the movie. Due to this clip from the movie charting on R&B chart, receiving considerable airplay on BET and other black media....she has always had to FIGHT MEN FOR WHAT SHE RIGHTLY DESERVES, because she WORKED FOR IT! SHE IS A QUEEN WITHOUT QUESTION. In her own way a PIONEER for young Black Actresses, walking in behind queens like Kim Fields, Janet Jackson....but still ORIGINAL, does anyone remember Rags To Riches?? Little Shop of Horrors...Tichina another Queen, multi-talent who continues to put out great work....I could go on,....Bless.

People are saying that they don't recall any songs sounding like this, at that time, but if you recall En Vogue's initial album ("Born to Sing"), which was released around 1989/1990, you'll remember songs with a similar sound to this one, like "Waiting On You" ..the 2 guys who put together EnVogue might have been inspired by this School Daze quartet ..and btw, I think that the most attractive dancer/singer of group, is Paula Brown-Douglass (the thickest one with the brown-colored hair) ..and she is STILL very beautiful, today.

Tisha Campbell's voice hits the ceiling almost as high as Dorothy Dandridge at one point. Great music all around. I love the song over the closing credits ("We Already Said Goodbye"). Most of all, this film introduced me to Spike Lee as a filmmaker. Amazing talent in that man. Great cast, powerful gut-kick of an ending. One of the most influential films in my life.

The Fosse influence, the choreography, the lighting, the camera work, the subtle connections to the storyline. One of my favorite movie scenes of all time.

I love this song, Tisha really sang her ass off on this one. She's an Amazing performer. I still watch this video from time to time, still watching during this pandemic in 2020. And look at Jasmine Guy in the back, looking amazing, all the ladies look amazingly beautiful.

Vanessa Williams was originally cast before Tisha, but she got pregnant. I know she would've been good, but I'm happy Tisha got it.

This was one of the best scenes from School Daze! Spike Lee was a genius for picking his actors/actresses in his movies! 😮😮😮😮

if you ever saw the movie " little shop of horrors", a 15 year old Tisha Cambell at the time sang and acted in the movie along with Tichina who played Pam in "Martin". Tisha has always been a talented singer.
