I would give the last CB spot to Kendall just because of ST I think he can be a ST ace and don’t wanna take the risk of losing him

I get the hesitation with Phillips, the injuries are a concern, but even being used outside his niche he was still one of the more productive guys we had. Once he was healthy and before vrable benched him he was catching 3-4 passes a game. That isn't some kinda gota keep him game changer but it was certainly better than arguably everyone but Hopkins. I just think if he could stay healthy which is a big if he could be a long term slot option, I think he could catch 5 balls a game if they didn't have hik running 15 yard digs. Edit: Not saying I would play him over Boyd but he would be my choice of backup and the future starter. Thay likely requires keeping 7 like you said tho.

Requires keeping 7, which isn't a guarantee! We all agree on that front. When it comes down to the numbers game, we think his lack of versatility and special teams will hurt him. Going to be fun to monitor!

Phillips is able to get open and not a bad option in the slot when healthy. Actually, in the new system Phillips could catch many passes. I have a little hesitation with Boyd who has slowed down so we shall see.

People do underestimate Haskins and we do need a guy who can bring his skill set. The best RB is without a doubt Spears. Pollards contract isn't relevant. They may give Pollard is chances but I imagine Spears will be the better player.

Great stuff. We don’t really have a history of paying backup safeties/iOL/special teamers $3.3+ million. For us those are typically league minimum type players. Doesn’t the financials put poor system fits like Brunskill and Molden on the block?

I get the argument for Brunskill, but I have no idea who at safety is supposed to push Molden off the roster.

I do think Dunkin is of gone. Are you guys really that stupid to think Sweat won't be out there? How preposterous. They drafted Sweat to play and be the starter. Obviously in passing situations they will have their best 4 pass rushers on the field.

I have a feeling Philips will get another chance, I know it’s a numbers game but I feel that when all is said and done the team will hold an extra body due to the age of the starting 3 WRs. And Philips was getting open pretty easily when on the field.

Thanks for tuning in, David! We appreciate your kind words. They essentially replaced Willis with Rudolph. Don't think they need a legit QB3 on the roster. We feel sorry for Farley as well. It's been a rough few years.

Obviously we are in a rebuild with this team, but yea depth is definitely a concern for this team, and this episode really helped me understand that. ESPECIALLY on that defensive front 7. If Sweat has rookie struggles (he will) AND injury issues/whatever other issues, this DL is looking ROUGH. SJD is solid but we all know what he is. I like Davidson but that group could get ugly real quick. Same with EDGE. If Weaver doesn’t take some sort of progression and if Key can’t prove to be more than a situational guy, this is probably the worst position group on the team. For ILB, if Murray doesn’t get better/thrive in this system and Cedric Gray isn’t immediately an impact player, boy oh boy this will be the Achilles heel of the defense with a less-than-prolific pass rushing attack in front of them. Luckily, our secondary is extremely good on paper (especially with Diggs/Simmons incoming 🤞🏻) so that will tremendously help out these groups that could struggle. I’m not worried about depth offensively. Shout out y’all for another great episode and shout out for getting, imo, the best Titans Twitter analyst on the show!
