I was shocked at how badly the defense played in this game. I thought they would rattle Willis and give the team a chance. Zero turn overs in 3 weeks and getting cooked by Malik Willis is inexcusable. I was a Levis believer after last year, but I am all the way out on him now. As bad as the offensive line has been, I think a lot of the pressure is his fault. He has bad pocket awareness and drifts into pressure, and is way too slow on his reads so he's holding onto the ball too long. This season is lost and I know that Mason Rudolph isn't going to save it, but I do want to see if Cally and this offense can get something going with a competent QB who isn't the main reason it's not working, just to see if there's a foundation there to start building on.

The defense was bad, for sure. Willis cooked them and converted several 3rd-and-longs with his arm and legs. Theres no reason to bench Levis. Callahan is not going to get fired for a QB he didnt draft. Playing ourselves out of a top pick (assuming Rudolph would actually perform better and I have serious doubts about that with our O line) would just make a bad situation worse. If we're going to suck and at the end of week 18 we can say with confidence that Levis isnt the guy then we need to be in a position to draft a QB without having to give up draft capital. There is no upside to playing Rudolph aside from a very short-sighted desire to eek out a few more meaningless wins. People were mad that we missed out on Joe Alt, but celebrated when we beat Jax in week 18. Can't have it both ways.

Callahan is a new head coach and Levis is still ironing out the kinks, and has looked better each week this year, Titans fans need to be patient it takes time for QBs and new coaches to figure things out. The O-line also needs so much help before you can properly evaluate Levis or really dream of going .500 or better. Defense has looked good week 1 and 2 but giving up that much to Malik makes that questionable. If Titans fans just turn up the heat and call for Rudolph, to scapegoat Levis, which Callahan might do to save his own career it's worst case scenario for your team. You bench Levis now and he'll go find another team and use all the invested time from the Titans to be a solid QB somewhere else with stable coaching/system. Titans will have to restart the clock with another new QB and start the cycle all over without fixing O-line or other weaknesses 😅.

I think in all of this, fans forgot what a rebuilding actually is. The roster is particular because there are a lot of veterans on expiring deal, the expectations has been of a playoff appearance or playing for .500 or more. The reality is for the philosophical shift on BOTH sides of the ball to really implement, those struggles we're seeing had to be expected. I was disappointed by the missed tackles and lack of forced TO's by the defense but overall, even after a rough start, the D gave plenty of opportunities for the offense to come back into the game and the offense (mostly the OL this game) failed. This season gives also the new coaching staff the opportunity to mostly evaluate the players left from the Jon Robinson/Vrabel regime and imo, there is still a major cleanup needed. Burks, NPF, even Key as a starter, I am out on them. Duncan will likely end up being a flop even if a 6th pick. 50/50 on Levis as a 2nd round. Most of the players who have been brought in, traded for or drafted by Carthon in have done their job. I would not mind seeing Levis on the bench a couple of games just to re-energize himself mentally but if we are to find out if he can be the guy, we need to see how he goes through this particular adversity. Unless we want another era with Tannehill 2.0 where we know the limitations of Mason Rudolph for long term success, we need imo to play the long game with Levis on this one, even if it means at season end determining that we need to go in another direction at Qb... Fustrating to watch yeah because of the flashes by Levis but it's the growing pains of a rebuild...

@@JustinM_NFL Most likely but for the sake of that rebuild, I'd rather go 0-4 or 0-5 and get it right moving forward than winning ''early'' games without addressing issues long term. I have seen enough since the Oilers years in the early 90s the team just being happy making the playoffs and not making it far because of the coaching mistakes not being addressed in the regular season. (wow I'm revealing my age lmao). I trust the coaching staff and GM taking the time to do it right, as painful the process is currently is...we saw what happened with Vrabel after our surprise run in 2019 resting on his laurels offensively. Same issue with Fisher in the early 2000's after making the superbowl (McNair became more of a passer only because Eddie George became a shell of himself). The run and shoot in the 90s was fairly easy to defend comes playoffs times with an above average D. Been there done that...just want a better process and outcome this time around...

Glad to see you challenging each other but I think you guys are letting the coaching off too lightly. In my opinion, first two games on Levis, not this. 1. 4th and 2 - like the decision in the end but did Cally change his mind due to the crowd, WTF! 2. Bad play design on 4th and 2, after the TO regardless! 3. Defense game plan, and lack of ability to adapt to Willis running. 4. O-line. JD was left on an island when he came in with the staff ignoring this/giving him no help despite knowing limitations. Negligence! 5. Running play calls, couldn't adapt or get them going. Offense play calling seemed to have very little unscripted that could get moving, and the D seemed unprepared then unable to adapt. Bad coaching! Levis is doing some decent stuff and he will get more comfortable - season is passed salvage now so give it to him and see if he does improve. If not, he's had a fair crack but benching him now with a 3/4 game sample size this season leaves questions.

Haven’t watched video yet, will tomorrow when I have time, but I’m always commenting so figured I’d go ahead and give some thoughts lol… I’m always in here preaching positivity and patience. Hard to do that today! I will say, Levis is remaining the starter. More of the same from him. 90% of a solid game and bad turnovers. Anyway… wow this is a rough start. The first two games were choke jobs almost solely on Levis. This was an old school ass kicking. The titans were the lesser team on that field. First and foremost, I mean completely out coached and it shows there’s levels to that shit in the NFL. Also. Callahan has a faltering image. Suspect play calling, suspect scheme at times, not setting up protection-helping situations/personnel. The timeout to change his indecisive mind, after boos, just to not convert… SHEESH. Secondly, this defense just got demolished by a fantastic offensive plan and by not being able to tackle properly. Jeff has got to stop being an idiot and start making plays. Key has got to do…anything!! Chido has got to get healthy and rookie Brownlee is , well, a rookie CB. McCreary has got to make a play on that ball to Watson. Third, and maybe the most important, is holy shit this offensive line is beyond horrible, especially when having the disadvantage due to down and distance. People aren’t getting open within 3 seconds, and well that’s all Levis is lucky to get. This makes his reads so much harder and kills every play if he can’t get it out ASAP. We have got to establish the run at all costs or else Levis will be on his ass all year, and either get hurt or fester anxious tendencies as a pocket passer. He just can’t showcase how good he can be because of it. You mix this with a fanbase who has an extremely small leash for him and this could become a disaster quickly. Things have got to change, and fast. I think these next three weeks are the make it or break it time frame for this team. Either they find a way to beat two fellow faltering teams and fix some issues during the bye week or people’s jobs will start to come into question. All in all, hard day to be a Titans fan. We have to rest with our defeat and hope for better days to come. Titan Up!

This game was hard to watch. I expected a rebuild and a slow start of the season but ouff , I think this loss is needed to put pressure on the coaching staff to make some serious changes, specially offensively. I would prefer seeing Mason at this point and let him take the beating if needed behind that OL. Then again, I think he might react better than Levis to pressure. Malik looked more seasoned out there after a lof of the fanbase including me thought he was a best a below average backup...regardless, we need to see more of Levis before making a decision for next season so he will likely play next week. I was all in favor for a power OL but at this point to salvage the season, just put Brunskill at Guard and Radunz at RT and draft a proper RT or sign one next offseason . Done with NPF and Duncan is a season away to be an below average backup...guys on PS would do better than Duncan or NPF at this point Defensively after a hot start of the season, you can see some cracks defensively, specially with RB and Qb turning the corner so fast and the moment Sweat or Simmons takes a breather, running up the middle...Tacking was bad a good chunk of the game and still no forced turnover to try giving the offense a spark. Not losing faith in Coach Callahan but he will have to make some tough decision in order for the remainder of the season to be watchable...

Melo is Melo dramatic, I'm not sure I'll stick with you guys. The season isn't over and I agree you may need to bench Levis. Come on, this was a waste of my time. One game is bad and their 0-3 I get it. You should be talking about the next few games to turn things around. I'm not listening to Melos BS anymore.

Vrabel hired/kept a TON of good coaches, but he struggled with OC post Arthur Smith, and the last OL coach seemed really bad (though the new one is proving you need talent, period, something neither of them had).

Levis well be fine. You all are way over reacting. You’re sitting around judging him by how he should be as a mature season veteran. He is young and has not been afforded like other young QB’s their type of O-line protection. Go look at Stroud play the Vikings and the pressure he was under yesterday. He didn’t look good either. In that same game Donald made a stupid bone headed play when his team was around the 10 yard line. Stroud last year looked awful in the games he was beat up by a defensive line as well. Levis lives in that freaking World EVERY STUPID GAME !!!!! And you guys are so off base with your judgement. And you guys are suppose to be more informed ? Levis will be a very good QB. Judge him on ALL his play. I have not heard much about his two touch down drives at all. If Levis’s hair was on fire you guys would accuse him of smoking. He does more good play than bad ones. Who are you people that proclaims after 12 games he is to be replaced. Go check yourself in the mirror and listen to your own words and proclamations on Malik Willis. Yea, you guys were geniuses on him too !!

This is strong defense for Levis who has 8 turnovers and 2 pick 6s. He needs to turn it around.
@cliffyates4493

@@MusicCityAudiblePodcast watch him play and understand the pressure he is under. Always ! Go and listen to Blaine Bishop talk about the pick 6. He had played a lot of football and can judge much better than you guys. It gives you insight into why Callahan said what he said about the pick 6. So you say Levis has to turn it around. Fine. What do you mean? His turn overs of which two of the interceptions were just throw aways are just Hail Mary’s. And two fumbles he just got blown up on. So take those other Boneheaded plays away …. Like the two poster pic ones. Ok then, what body of work do you have left to Judge Levis on? He has very few bad throws in each game. Most of his throws are very catchable balls. I watch the game. What I see are timing issues that can be improved on which IS NOT just a QB issue. He is a young QB learning how to play the position. There is a reason why the coaches still like him. You guys put way to much weight on all the PFF stats and your unprofessional eye when watching coaches tape. Yesterday is the perfect evidence of this. Bishop’s sidekick on his morning show is asked by Bishop what he thought of Levis’s play? He said he thought he played pretty well overall. But he then said after looking at all his data he was mistaken and he had a bad game. Go watch this. It’s classic. Watch Bishops expression as he is trying to hold back as much as he can to not salt his mate. Bishop gets across that data cannot be the judge of proclaiming a player good or bad. You guys are silly to do this. I love your shows and enjoy them. I’m a big fan ! But you guys are so impatient and to reactionary based on the tools you put faith in.

Will Levis is a very, very bad quarterback. I think we have seen enough and if I was a betting man I would say Amy Adams feels the same way. He will be benched sooner rather than later. He has looked awful each game so far, not learning from his mistakes and in fact making the same ones over and over. The guy doesn’t have it. I want to be wrong, but it just feels like the writing is on the wall.

It’s hard to be positive about anything with this team right now. Everyone looks lost and inept and that includes the coaching staff, not just the players. What happened today was beyond an embarrassment, it’s sickening. Titans look like top 3 worst team in the NFL right now, there’s an argument they are first.

@@JustinM_NFL if the Rat Birds close out the game with the Cowboys, the Titans and Bengals will be the only winless teams in the NFL and the Bengals still have a game with Washington tomorrow night.
