In this video we titration a sample of a strong acid (nitric acid) with a strong base (sodium hydroxide). We calculate our start pH, how many milliliters we need to add to reach the equivalence point, what the pH is 5 milliliters before the equivalence point, the pH at the equivalence point and 5 milliliters after the equivalence point. We also look at the titration curve and point out the most important features.
