Okay, so I was an enormous Fan of Alice wetterlund.... I followed her on Twitter and insta, I thought she was funny and sexy, I recommended her work to people, and I truly admired her.... thought she was pretty badass... and one day when I pointed out to her on Twitter that some of her political opinions didn’t make much logical sense (I was a human rights law student at the time).... She went absolutely insane... and not insane in a way that was smart or clever or charming..... she was positively hysterical.... guilt tripped me for having a penis, tried gathering a Twitter mob of female comedians to moralize me, she squawked nonsensical about how politically ignorant and abusive I am (I’m guessing that’s cuz a comedian and actress has a better barometer for these things than an aspiring international lawyer?) and even when I tried explaining to her what she was doing, it obviously went nowhere. it seems that entertainment success makes people think they’re incapable of making social mistakes or thinking fallaciously, or makes them think their opinions are solid gold even when they’re patently ridiculous. Though it’s perfectly possible that people were ganging up on her.... (which is kind of ironic to hear, particularly in my case).... I don’t know if Alice is the best person to listen to for objectivity on that subject. Btw.... tell her I said hi 👋🏻
@1981bevo

you may be right, but you're calling her opinions "patently ridiculous" so who's to say yours aren't as well? they're opinions. everyone has some that are ridiculous to someone somewhere. you're trying to say yours are more valid because of your background, but you're still arguing about your opinions versus hers. #Arachniphobiadeservesasequel

Great interview with T J! I'm glad he was so articulate about dispelling the rumors about him. He seems like a truly good person. I really like the characters he's played over the years. I think he's a good actor with hopefully a promising future career. I have a very hard time believing that he could come even close to sexually assaulting someone. I hope we continue to see him in challenging roles, and that the powers that be in Hollywood lighten up and give him the chance he deserves! It would be a profound miscarriage of justice otherwise.
