That looks amazing! I think, maybe a little bit of air brushing with darker paint on the face and hand would make it look even better! Another idea would be to put makeup around your eyes so you can't tell wear the mask starts :) Awesome job man!

He could use a cheap tooth brush to speckle the yellow with a vainy blue colour paint with dark green speckles to make the yellow bits to look more like octopus skin

@TechBear1 At the very least, I needed some blue. There's a lot of dark blue on his tentacles, but I didn't have the right colors, for cream makeup that I would have used.

@Comicwriter232 Vaseline just helps the latex not stick to the sculpt, helps it slide off easier. I did probably 10 layers of latex.

I do have 2 questions for ya. Question 1: Once you made your sculpture could you slice them in pieces and then latex the individual pieces? This is incase you wanted to form fit these pieces to the actors face using something like spirit gum and then color it in then or color them ahead of time using acrylic paints?? Question 2: once you make your sculpture, could you use the caster bandages to make your duplicate. Then paint your mask on the inside with latex or would that b a waste of time?
