Wahoo. Looks great Chris. Was a bit tricky, but that's just to make your day more interesting. The time it takes for a wee bag may explain what the kids did back in the day. See ya next time, bye bye.

We ended up with about a gallon, but it does make great cornbread 😀

I just had an idea this morning. You should try grinding coffee beans with your mill ☕️😎

You get the same one? I really like mine. Ordered another product from ITC, waiting for it to come in. Sort of for the tractor.

Now you’re going to have to grow some open pollinated white hominey? corn. This was for our use. The open pollinated yellow field corn was Reeds yellow dent. When are you coming to Indiana to pick up the craftsman band saw?

You use that yellow dent for flour? Can you send me a couple pics to cwgeocacher@gmail.com

@@TryNewThings no, the white hominy corn was for people, the Reeds yellow dent was for livestock. Both were open pollinated corn. I suppose yellow dent could be ground and used. Just don’t remember that. Haven’t seen any for years. That was when I was a kid.

Priceless… lol, or nearly. It is funny I started with 100’s of Cobb’s of corn, then after running those through the corn sheller I was left with 4 gallons of kernels, then after running that through the grain mill I had 1 gallon of corn flour. It is tasty though, and I’m pleased we could do it start to finish ourselves. Next year… pop corn.
