@@TheLOUIS97531 Heyman is #3 Heyman was a promoter at one time in between managing career. Go back look at Bobby Heenan and cornette. Heenan and Cornette are both 1 and 1a how ever you want to look at it. Heyman in the middle of his career became a promoter instead of at the end of his career like Corny. Corny promoted Smoky mountain wrestling. That's a huge difference. And everybody that Corny managed he was their mouth piece. Not a few guys like Paul.

Coronet is one the Greatest ever managers, however, JJ was very executive and complimented the 4 Horsemen's chemistry. Coronet was a perfect fit for a team like the Midnight Express. Corny would have been outstanding with a team like the Hollywood Blondes.
@freebachelor5060

Agreed. Corny was great, but a bit too cartoonish when he got involved with being in the ring. JJ with that ring jacket and exposing his chicken legs being totally out of place because he was too "executive" to do dirty work was PERFECT for the Horseman's chemistry.

But he is not cut out to have a show with a guest, or be a guest on another show, he is the Louisville Lip for a reason lol.

This is before Brian was a co-host if I'm not mistaken so I don't think so. Flair's original podcast was pretty old. I don't think ppl had trouble with Conrad back in these days. It wasn't until he blew up w/Pritchard that ppl started having problems with Conrad.

I wanna say sometime between 2015-2016. I used to travel a lot for work back then and listened to this podcast. Conrad IMO came off a lot more genuine and a lot less like he was trying to play devil's advocate. Not that it's a bad thing, but it's different for sure.

I agree with you, but I wish more ppl would mention Jimmy Hart when discussing great managers. Just in the WWF alone he had an incredible run. In the 80s Jimmy had every title that wasn't with Hulk Hogan under his belt and tremendous heat. Dude had the Harts and the Honky Tonk Man which actually had VERY good chemistry as a stable even if they weren't always involved in each other's matches.

Yeah I noticed the the title and thought that it would just be multiple snips and clips and then discussed by Ric and Conrad. However, it was just a long interview . It sounded dated until I heard the Race comment. Yeah, this podcast is getting old. It seems hard to get Ric to focus and put down the booze during interviews
