Watched FNL in the most difficult year being 2020. From episode 1, I knew this show was going to be quite special but I never knew just how much love I’d have for it after I finished it. Nothing beats the small town of Dillon, Texas. I’d recommend this show to anyone and everyone. Clear eyes, full hearts, we can’t never ever lose❤️

Uhm. I actually don't no what to say (which is, as you know, extremely rare) except that I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes and an aching heart. First of all, it's aching because I miss this beloved show so damn much and these six minutes reminded me in the bittersweetest way. And secondly, it's aching because of the beauty of your editing. Stunning, emotional, perfect

omg this was amaaaazing! especially the ending instrumental where the song really hits its stride. i love how you mixed the football shots with the happiness everyone had gotten and the future they set for themselves, and then came all the heartbreaks the characters had gone through and the goodbyes. it was just perfect for the show because thats exactly what this show was about --- realism, and all the barriers that come with it. i just love this video so much!! what a beautiful tribute, gal!

Oh my gosh. WOW. Gal, this is heartbreakingly beautiful & brilliant. This song combined with this song was obviously a tearjerker waiting to happen, and you did it SO wonderfully. You made such amazing use of the beautiful cinemetography of this show and varied the characters so well, and captured romances, families, friendships. I loved the parallels between some scenes. How you matched all of the lyrics to some degree or another, despite how really tricky some of them were. ;) Faved for sure.

Please don't ever stop making FNL videos. No one really makes them anymore, & not enough people showcase seasons 4/5 characters & stories. Your video was beautiful & sums up FNL wonderfully. Like I said, please continue to make them so FNL can continue living (texas) forever! (Sorry, that's so cheesy. lol)

I respect shows like this that try to portray the struggles of high school students and the role of football in a small town but there is a tone inherently different between this show and the Movie Friday Night Lights. Watch both and see what you think. The movie portrays a feeling of hope and faith in each other and themselves in the face of disaster and challenges unforeseen. From the limited amount of this show I've seen there is more of a tone of "look how bad we have it" rather than getting up and making a difference. No offense to the actors or real people. Honestly it's the directors fault. This can even be see in the Coaches tone. Clear eyes an full hearts was part of the last speech given by the coach (Actor Bill Bob Thorton) in the movie and inspired his team to overcome a serious points deficient against a much more skilled and agressive team. In the movie the panthers lose to illustrate the truth that sometimes in life no matter how hard we try we still will lose but what makes a difference is keeping our faith in ourselves and putting forth the best effort absolutely possible.

Bernard Krasnisky I think the problem here is when you say "From the limited amount of this show I've seen..." I have seen both the movie and all of the show - several times over in fact. Everything you loved about the movie is reflected in the show. In fact, the show does it better. So I would strongly recommend you watch all of the show - or at least all of the first season - and re-evaluate. It's only fair.

Disagree with this statement entirely. Coach Taylor and the town of Dillon epitomize the term "resiliency." Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.
