Depends on what you are buying. Straight gasoline - if you can find it - is about $4.50 a gallon. Gasohol (90% gasoline, 10% ethanol) which is much more common is about $3.70 a gallon.

1:45 I never realized that I-480 was named after former President Ford. I knew he was born in Nebraska, just didn't realize it was in Omaha. I have always known Michigan was his home state, since I live there. I-196 is named after him in its 80 mile entirety since it ends in Grand Rapids, where he grew up. A museum in his name opened in the 1980s just blocks from his namesake highway.

Cool. I wish more interstates would actually do that, as it's neat being able to know how far away you are from other major cities on the interstate. For example, For the interstate I live near, I-94, I would enjoy seeing distances to major cities Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Fargo, and Detroit along more segments of it.

I was really looking forward to you putting this on KZitem. Brings back so many good memories of my numerous trips across I-80 in the Great Plains and Midwest. Call me weird, but after driving eastbound for over 900 miles with very few cities in between, the sudden "rush" of driving a 10 lane urban freeway with heavy traffic is actually quite refreshing. Did you happen to visit the Old Market, or the Dundee District, while you were in town?
