You stated the Pro Max 24 POE had 16 POE plus, but it has 8 POE+ 1GB, 8 POE ++ 1 GB and 8 POE++ 2.5.

Checking the temperature not under load does not make much sense. Try checking the temperature while under full load - all ports utilized to the max.

I purchased the 16 port Pro Max. Of all my UniFi switches, t's definitely my favorite and probably the most use-case versatile. For now, I've pimped it with some rubber feet from Amazon and have it camping out on my desktop.

Did you purchased the poe version?

@@unknownxy8026 No. I purchased the non-POE version, as I already have several POE switches running cameras, APs, and IP phones. The non-POE version has a much smaller power supply, making it less hassle. The POE version has a major brick, as it must also supply the POE power in addition to the switch itself.
