Pray the promises of God, delving deep into the Lord, He delivered me from Insomnia in such a special way when I was so desperate and out of control. I heard his still gentle voice guiding me what to do, I trusted and obeyed his instruction and within 3 nights my sleep was back to normal. Each of us are different and we are uniquely made by him, use this as an encouragement that he hears you. Focus on Him and not the issue, because Nothing is impossible with Our God, our saviour and deliverer. Faith takes time and we are in this walk with Him. When I walk through the fire the flames will not set me ablaze. I will say a prayer for you Maria God Bless

Hi Aaron. In March of 2020, I stumbled upon your channel. It’s been over 3 years now since my life was turned upside down & my horrific trial started. I sent my only child to Peru on a mission trip in March of 2020. She was only 15 yrs old. She came back sick & has never gotten better. In fact, things have gotten much worse. The other 15 kids who went on the trip with her all came back fine. It was only my child who got sick. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve referred back to your channel and watched every single one of your videos for comfort and faith since then. Oh, how they carried me thru & I would fall asleep listening to them while crying. They comforted me. Though we are strangers across the country, you are my brother in Christ. I prayed for you since watching this video of yours yesterday. You seem so sad. I recently started watching Pastor Tony Evans. I have found that I really like the way he delivers a sermon. He’s very gifted at making it “make sense”. While watching this sermon this morning, you crossed my mind and I wanted to share it with you. I’m praying for you, Aaron. Hang in there my brother. kzitem.info/news/bejne/ya1qlqqVin9ndaw&feature=share

@Aaron Kim, brother, thank you for the message. Really came at a very ideal time. Out of love, I wanted to warn you about watchman Nee and witness Lee-related materials. I spent a short time with the 'local church' and I left when I found out some very heretical things were being taught. Specifically, that God needs us more than we need Him and that He is lonely without us. I read official writings passed over by the church that affirmed this stance when I challenged it. I cannot say they are not brothers or sisters in Christ, but tread safely. There is a channel called 'Texas Street Preacher' that calls out many more of the heresies - after spending I believe it was years with that particular church. The brother that runs the channel is a bit rough and I don't personally endorse his mannerisms. Best to you. By the way, are you a 'local church' member?
@aaronkim1074

Hello brother Jack, thank you for your care; I do appreciate it. Those are valid points of concern. Watchman Nee is one of those brothers who I still learn from although I may not agree with certain beliefs of his. As long as they are not teaching heresy imo, I can usually overlook the areas of disagreements and keep learning from them. I learned to do this when I realized almost everyone has some blind spots. And yes, I am a part of a local church in Indianapolis called College Park Church. God bless you brother.

@@aaronkim1074 Got it. I also mention it because by the grace of God, you've got almost 9k people who tune-in to your content. So mentioning watchman Nee very well may have led curious ears to check out his writings and even to the 'local church' he founded where there are some sketchy things from my experience - e.g., what I mentioned and how they believe Revelation is all symbolic (as I recall, they believe New Jerusalem & New Heavens and New Earth are not literal), they put a lot of emphasis on the writings of their founders Nee and Lee which is scary. What a blessing to serve God with such a large audience, but what a responsibility you take on as well my beloved brother.

Hello, it’s often difficult to tell what the source of our afflictions are. In these cases, it is better to focus on what we do know. For example: 1) Regardless of the source of your afflictions, God is using your trial for your good. 2) His grace is sufficient for you at all times 3) God will see you through as you trust in Him 4) As you trust in Him through the trial, you will become more like Jesus and useful for His use. Don’t give up, but stay surrendered and trusting in Jesus alone. He is faithful.

Aaron My Brother, I thought you might be going through something, since I hadn't seen a video in a while. God has been working on me in a similar way, and He's revealed a few things that you may find encouraging to be reminded of. 1) You have been given a ministry to speak about trials and suffering. God's given me a similar ministry in a lesser extent to you. For both of us, that ministry requires compassion for the people we engage with. If our pain is in the distant past, we tend to forget it's acuteness and become less sympathetic to other believers who are drowning in their pain. So our pain has to be fresh. 2) Paul speaks of enduring all things for the sake of The Elect. I've had times in my life, and I'm sure you have too, where I've been crushed in a senseless way, where no one could see. It was in private and seemed to have no purpose at all. But later, that private crushing not only gave me great benefits, but I was really able to help and encourage and make sense of things for other suffering saints. One thing I've seen is that the benefit is always far greater than the pain. A year of pain is a small price for a lifetime of good for myself and others. I take great encouragement from Paul Bunyan, who rotted in jail for 10 years. But that time alone is the only way he would have ever produced books like Pilgrim's Progress and Holy War, which have helped believers for centuries! Our suffering truly does produce glory that isn't worth being compared to it. 3) Knowledge without application is worthless. Seeing all the diagrams and explanations of the mechanics and benefits of a squat doesn't mean half as much as actually squatting does. We can understand intellectually that God is good, we should trust Him, His ways always work good later, faith through trials is glorifying to God, we need to rejoice and give thanks for all things, etc... but it has to be assimilated from our head into our experience, and that requires practical application. God often teaches us the classroom lesson, then takes us into the lab to see what we've really learned. And just like a novice weightlifter, at first our faith muscles are like bambi's legs. We're shaky, and even the smallest ounce of genuine trust in God takes every ounce of effort we've got! But with repetition, the lesson takes effect and we can trust quicker and easier. Just like with fitness, I've also found that God often makes me repeat the fundamentals, so I don't lose them as I move on to the next challenge. 4) I'm a personal trainer, and sometimes when I have a hard headed client, I'll make them go through something hard without the solution, so that they're more ready to receive the answer when it's given. I think you do some olympic lifting. No one has ever adopted the hook grip because I told them it's helpful upfront. It's uncomfortable. But if you have someone do 50+ cleans and then tell them about the hook grip once they can't even hold a water bottle, they're a lot more ready to receive what you're telling them. God has certainly worked with me in the same way. Hope some of that helps. God bless you!
