Carrot Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
For a biscuit:
eggs - 4 pcs.
vegetable oil - 200 ml.
flour - 350 g .
carrots - 400 g .
brown sugar - 200 g .
cinnamon - 1 tsp
baking powder - 2 tsp
orange - 1 pc .
walnuts - 200 g
. butter (for nuts) - 50 g.
salt (for nuts) - 0.5 tsp
Cream:
Sour cream - 500 g.
Powdered sugar - 200 g .
1) First prepare the nuts. Fry them in a dry frying pan. At the end of frying, mix with butter and salt, and remove to cool, after that you need to grind.
2) Let's make a biscuit. First, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, cinnamon. Then, in another bowl, combine the liquid ingredients: sugar, butter, eggs and orange juice. After that, we introduce the flour into the egg mixture in portions. When the dough is almost ready, add the walnuts and carrots, mix everything well. The dough is ready!
3) Bake in a mold at 180 degrees, 40-50 minutes, if you make one large cake. If you divide it into several, it will take less time. It is better to check readiness with a skewer. The biscuit is cooled, and cut into several cakes.
4) Make a cream. Add powdered sugar to the sour cream in portions, and mix with either a spatula or a mixer. You can also add butter to the cream so that it is not liquid.
5) We collect the cake. Each cake is smeared with cream, and decorated with crumbs and walnuts on top, or as you come up with yourself.
