The Titanium Alcohol Stove Cross Stand does not work, as the pot is too close to the flame when using it. Took 10 minutes to start a boil. I use my firebox stove and the toaks stove and it took 5 minutes to bring to a boil.

Turn it over. Perfect 25 mm distance from stove.

You need to put something down to protect the wood table. In my opinion the state of art in alcohol stoves is a Zelph StarLyte Gold in a Caldera Cone.

#1) you’re missing a windscreen! #2) a reflective “foil” under your burner Those two are important especially #1, I do like those siphon capillary burners they should give a faster & more efficient burn time using less fuel and very light weight, learning how much fuel to use is the trick I’ve worked that out by using a small 1oz measuring cup with 15ml increments or even a soda bottle cap will do. .

@@CDPOutdoors Hey no problem they’re nice burners I have a home made $8 (aluminum) version I bought from eBay with a simmer ring & it has a 3-4sec bloom, simmer ring & 1/2oz (15ml) burns for 7 min or 14min on simmer. I’ve gotten 25min on simmer (15ml) very good burners I’d say! $20 full kit with fuel bottle & pot stand. I’ll buy a TOAKS or similar (indestructible) Titanium when I perfect the use of this one and find a great deal.
