arrow keys are barely used in the first place to scroll, most of the time you scroll with hotkeys/minimap clicks or just move the mouse to the edge of the screen. including the eye tracking feature in sc2 sounds like an amazing idea though. i'd love to see more of that

You're right KoEDeath, I guess I was thinking from an indie dev perspective. I suppose $1000 is a drop in the bucket for most game dev companies. I'll reserve judgment until they announce consumer prices.

At $1000 for the dev kit (and no word on the consumer version), it feels like they've priced themselves out of the market.

Neat, but most actual SC2 players, a) just click on the mini map, b) use control group double tapping to jump to their units/buildings, c) use location hot keys to jump to common locations, e.g., their expansion(s), main base, etc.

... priced them selves out of the market? lol... you don't think developers will pay 1000$? you are joking right?... consumers wont pay 1000$ sure. but we are not talking about consumers id be willing to be the consumer will pay about 100$ if that. i think that is a fair price.
