A quiet day today for my video diary "A Year in the Life of a Miniaturist'. I have been working on the detail of the Beacon Hill House balcony (more to show tomorrow), finished engraving the Tudor bed legs, and learnt Tunisian Simple stitch (looks great and is easy to master). I was asked by a lot of folk about the engraver and where to buy. If you go to culiau.com, there is lots of info there (I posted their website at the end of this video). And if you like the idea of Tunisian simple stich, just search KZitem for it. There are quite a few tutorials. I'll do one myself soon and post. I love the textured finish the stitch give. Happy miniatures everyone!!
