Tony Docherty states the following during Rangers 5-2 Dundee post-match press conference: "Just think, we need to get in at halftime two-nothing. The goal just before halftime, you know, as much as you try and make sure the players focus and everything, they did well in the first half. But it changes the dynamic a little bit.
Then coming into the second half, I do think we've got to do better. Again, it's very preventable, the second goal. We've got to defend better, stop the ball coming in first of all, and defend the penalty box better. But the third goal, I mean, there's no way he meant that-it was a fluke, you know what I mean?
But you know, stages in the game, you always remember the way a game finished, and that's what I said to the players. It's important we focus on other things because at 3-2, I went with two strikers up. I'm thinking there's no point if it's 3-2, 4-2, or 5-2. We need to try and win the game, and it opens us up a little bit in midfield and defensively, and the game runs away from us."
