All instruments, voices, writing, arranging, production and mixing done by Todd. Great vocal arrangement to me.

A number of folks have done the "everything played" thing but few reach this kind of excellence. Not saying they haven't. Steve Winwood certainly did it.

A genius. Todd's catalog in the 70s and 80s includes some of the most profound studies on love in its many, all too human facets: "The Meaning of the Verb to Love," "Love is the Answer," "Love of the Common Man," "Does Anybody Love You?" Todd composed from his heart and his manifold gifts are evident in his work.

I don't know, Imadrummin - this might be my favorite Rundgren tune. That's saying a lot with his many classic tunes. This one leaves me feeling warm inside...nostalgic. Of course you selected this, brother -- great taste as always. Surprises like this are gold, Harri - enjoyed your reaction to such a wonderful song.

Been a fan of Todd, Utopia, his production work since the mid seventies…you’re in for a treat. He’s a musical shapeshifter and made everything from hard rock, beautiful ballads, spiritual music, funny songs, blues, jazz, symphonic rock, storytelling songs, rap, EDM, you name it, he’s done it…thanks for doing this!

From Todd's 1978 album, "Hermit of Monk Hollow" this was the only hit single on the album reaching Number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100's. A beautiful produced song with Todd's voice delivering such a emotional packed punch with great back up vocals that blend magically. The instrumentation absolutely lovely and so fitting for this break up song.Give me Todd's wonderful musical abilities any day. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Imadrummin. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

In 1974 Todd Rundgren's Utopia hit us hard with one of the great alternative/progressive rock albums. I have read Todd was a bit miffed with his soft song/pop reputation and decided to form a hard rock band. He succeeded of course. This album should be in every prog head's library.

Todd is a very versatile performer but also a good hearted man. He actually raised Steven Tyler’s daughter, the actress Liv Tyler. He became her official Adoptive father and if you look up Liv Tyler you will see that her legal name is Liv Rundgren Tyler.

Rundgren is based in soul music... both he and long-time friend Daryl Hall (both from the same area of Philadelphia, PA) loved the great Philly-based soul groups of the 60's & 70's like the Chi-Lites, Spinners, Delfonics, etc... so many songs TR has done show that influence. He was also heavily influenced by the Beatles (duh), and by the English blues rockers like Clapton, et al... There's a very deep hole associated with Todd that falls through the 90's... and even some of the songs released this century are really good.

Todd Rundgren was influenced vocally by Philly soul music as well as artists like Stevie Wonder. Many of his songs, particularly his ballads, have that r&b sound to them. I suggest listening to his ballad 'Fair Warning'. It's profoundly moving and soulful.

Liv Tyler was born as Liv Rundgren after musician Todd Rundgren agreed to step in as her father. Now, she considers both Rundgren and the Aerosmith singer to be her fathers. “I'm so grateful to Todd for choosing to be a father figure to me. The bizarre way Liv Tyler discovered her father was Aerosmith fron tman Steven Tyler. For the first decade of her life, Liv Tyler believed Todd Rundgren was her father. The musician and producer had dated Tyler's mother, musician and former Playboy playmate Bebe Buell, in the 1970s. Although Bebe and Todd ended their relationship before Liz was born, Todd signed her birth certificate and acted as a father figure in her childhood. While Liv was largely raised by her mother and grandmother, she would visit Todd three times a year. He also paid for her private education. Buell had a short fling a one night stand with Steven Tyler in late 1976. The encounter led to the birth of Liv in a New York City hospital the following July. Tyler was deep into his drug addiction at the time and, in an attempt to protect Liv, Buell kept the paternity a secret from her daughter. Peace out
