South Africa is known for its mining industry. So a lot of people from neighbouring countries migrate to us for work. They normally stay in South Africa for months on end and only return home when it's December. So a lot of our dançes are the same, because you know. When in Rome you even dance like them. So Tofo Tofo are Mozambican, but the dance is authentic to South Africa. That is our Pantsula dance. Pantsula means To waddle like a duck in Zulu. The moves are much more complicated in especially Soweto Johannesburg crews. Even Angolans adopted it and fuse ìt with their Kudara dance. South Africa is know for unique foot and legwork. That's what drew Beyoncé to the style. I'm very glad for the Tofo Tofò boys, but that is an authentìc South Africa dance that is like a sùbculture here. That's where the saying come from PANTSULA FOR LIFE. That Dresscode, bucket hats, Converse All Star sneakers, the shortened pants slung low on the hips. Their distinctive way of walking. It's unique to them.Tofo Tofo dovit with our kwaito music, but it's authentically done with no music. The guys create beats, rythm and timing only by whistling and clapping hands while performing. When they dance their footfall create its own beat as they have to be totally in sync. Their hat tricks are insane. The spinning hat in the air. Old school Pantsulas elevate it by blowing up into the air in a specific way. There is so much good content of Pantsulas online. I see lately they are experimenting with adding different genres such as other ethnic dances and break dance. They already have a lot of Popping and Locking in their dance. They are masters at contortion and a yoga practitioner even recognized advanced yoga positions in their dancing. Quite a dance. Intellectuals Pantsula have some tutorials loaded on their channel. There they exactly show how to get that footwork right if you want to bust that moves when Who run ťhe World Girls play. They were winners of the Red Bull dance your style competition. They appeared as a guest act during last year's Juste Debout 2019 Finals in Paris. Just search Pantsula Show Juste Debout 2019. Juste Debout is the biggest Dance Competition in France, with prelim battles over 4 continents and the Finals of all the winners held in Paris. This year Les Twins are the Hip-hop division judges. So Pantsula is deeper than what it seem.

She only had 7 days to learn it and in heels. These guys are doing it for years and in Chuck Taylors. And its a very tricky dance. That footwork is like tapdancing
