The Tokyo Tower plushie is one of my favorite souvenirs. 😆🗼 Not all “maybe next time”s are equal; thank you for another reminder to “just do it now” & live with no regrets.

I believe the phrase you’re thinking of is ‘carpe diem,’ which emphasizes the importance of living in the moment and seizing opportunities as they arise. I agree with you that sometimes waiting too long to act can cause us to miss out on great opportunities. However, your strategy of delayed satisfaction is a smart approach for avoiding regret. I think what you are trying to say is that we should strike a balance between these two approaches by being thoughtful and intentional with our decisions, but also open to new experiences and willing to act on opportunities when they present themselves. Did I get that right?😊

When I was in Japan and heard that bird sound it made me wish we had that in the states. My mother is visually imparted and I think that it is a genius idea.

Arigatougozaimasu, Rion, for this enjoyable walk from Tokyo station. The trees turning autumn colors are so beautiful, as are the Christmas trees which are now decorating the city. Great gift souvenir you've made, and I'm sure that one of your Gaomunity will be glad to receive it one day soon. An English expression we sometimes use to express that it's best to do it while you can is "strike while the iron is hot." 👍

We just arrived late afternoon yesterday for a family holiday (holiday of a lifetime!). By the time we checked into our hotel by Tokyo Station is was dark and we wanted some exercise. I remembered just watching this video the other day and we walked around the Marunouchi Christmas illuminations, the lovely fountain park, and the outside of the Imperial Palace Gardens. I would never have known to suggest it otherwise. Thanks 😊🙏🏽.

I was watching the replay of the FIS Slalom Runs for ladies from USA in our TV and during the Add-s I happend to check You Tube suddenly finding the newest video of yours. I just stopped the replay and switched to your channel. The whole strolling was really great fun to watch. The night atmosphere of any part of Tokyo is so great. The colourful plates with the healthy food seemed so inviting and the whole meal including a glas of wine must have been yummy. The Tokyo Tower in comparison to Tokyo Sky Tree, which is more sofisticated for sure, looks a bit antique and offers unique atmosphere especially with the Christmas Market in front of it. There were many Adds some pretty long and the other shorter ones, so I will have to rewatch your video to capture all the tiny detals. I envy the a lucky one visiting viewer of yours to get the give away medal. The varieties of Christmas Tree designs at various places is astonishing. No doubt, there will be more of them in your videos coming next. I just love this season in general and feel very privileged to enjoy it virtually with you, too. Let's stroll together on and on! GAAOOO!!!!

The only Japanese words I know are of food😅. Last trip to Tokyo, I didn’t have time to go around Tokyo Station and surrounding areas. Next April I’ll be back and will be exploring these places. If you have trouble digesting undercooked meat, raw oysters might also be hard on your stomach. I saw a video about some restaurants in Tokyo that serves special oysters raised in the deep waters so that the bad bacteria doesn’t infect them, if that’s your main concern.

If the raw oyster is bad, you can smell it. Usually the chief will check it, so no worries. Its like 1/40 chance, furthermore in Japan, its supposed to be even more safe as it is fresh.
