I mentioned a fellow Chambers Bay caddie, Gary Allard, when Tom interviewed me at Brora. Gary, who caddied at age 80, passed away last week. Rest In Peace, Brother. Fairways and Greens Forever!

OMG some people are truly blessed. I played my 1st round in Scotland back in February this year, my first trip north of the border. I played Prestonfield GC (Edinburgh) and was blown away by the course, the views, the value for money and the friendliness of everyone, from Pro who hired me clubs to members I chatted with on the day. Being the sole golfer in the family I don’t get many opportunities to play on holiday but The Coyne Cup looks awesome and so does Castle Stuart. Added to bucket list for sure! Tom if you ever hold a Coyne Cup in the midlands (suggest The Belfry 🙏) please invite me along 💥🏌️♂️👍

How does one go about getting invited to this event? I have read all your books and I would very much like to become part of the story as opposed to just living my golf life vicariously through the books! Have you lined up your golf rounds through Kentucky? If not, I belong to a Robert Trent Jones club here in little old Paducah, KY.
