Tom Hardy's natural accent is some weird amalgamation of all his roles. You can hear every character in some way in there.

Maybe I’m biased because I’m Aussie but Guy Pearce is one of Hollywood’s best , he can do anything in acting

Nothing biased about it. I'm Irish and I know this term gets thrown around a lot unnecessarily, but regardless of his success I still feel he's underrated. "The Proposition" and "The Rover" are absolute masterpieces that deserve more recognition

I noticed that too. It could be due to the fact that he was born to english parents, and then his family moved to Australia. He hence probably got a chance to sample the two accents and come up with his own "goldilocks" version :). It does sound very nice.

He was born in England, but grew up Australian. If you're just going off the accent, that's a fairly normal Australian accent, not British.

Never understood "supporter" What does that mean exactly?!? You thank a serviceman or put a yellow sticker on your car. Not enough for me. Im ex USMC and supporters on the sidelines in short skirts and pom poms. You want to "truly" support a service man let your son or daughter serve. We appreciate THAT KIND of support!

It's not uncommon for Australians to speak in a more soft-spoken accent. Pearce lived on a farm in Geelong, so I don't think "posh" really comes into it. Of course many people do speak in the standard "usstralyan" accent, and his mother probably influenced the way he speaks, but even then many Aussie men are soft spoken and have a gentle manner, as much in rural areas as anywhere else. It's different from being effeminate, and not seen as being less masculine as far as I can tell.
