Malik keeps playing this way. Look out. The rest will come together...hall can become a major game changer .

He needs more confidence in his 3. When he was a freshman, he had much more confidence in his 3 point shooting. If he hits 3s consistently, it will spread the floor and create many more opportunities. Kenny Goins helped free up Cash by hitting 3s and same as Houser did last year freeing up space for Hoggard, Walkeer and Aikens to work. Consistent 3s from Hall is essential to this team making any sort of run.

Tre Holloman has been a stand by all year. Stellar D. Assists at key times. Clutch shots when a run is needed. Scrppy rebounds. Reminds me when X started to come into his own. Different position, but same maturation when necessary.

The key to Michigan St success offensively revolves around getting their fast break generated. They get some easy baskets and the players get excited and consequently the team gets into an offensive rythem. The 3 point shots fall more often as well. Defense, rebounding and transitioning the basketball is Michigan St basketballs identity.

True but in order to run you have to control the defensive backboard. This Spartan team isn't a strong rebounding team.

It’s pretty cool back in the eighties northern Michigan had a lot of great teams skiing champs wrestling champs and a great hockey team the school, was loaded with talent but back then the place in the great white north did not get much attention outside the state of Michigan and in Seattle I met the Olympic wrestling champ and in North Carolina I ran into andy McDowell wow

A great win. Great defense from start to finish. Tonight we looked like a top 10 team. Other nights we look like a low level d-II school. With the talent and level of experience this team should play like tonight every night. Frustrating at times

Bad offense meets good defense, sums it up. MSU did everything better. Funny to say in an 18-pt win, but we should have won by more.

Sissoko and Cooper lost the ball at least 4 times on nice assists that should have been easy dunks; when Mady was able to catch the ball under the basket, he usually dribbled away from the basket and shot a fade-away brick instead of attacking the basket. Lack of production and stupid mistakes at the center position may keep them out of the NCAA tournament; hopefully they can get some good play from Kohler.

I swear, there must be a guy with a gun off camera forcing Tom to say “address the white elephant in the room” as many times as possible 😂
