Saw Cinderella, Winger and Bulletboys back in 1989. Tom descended from the sky playing that white grand piano in a rain of purple lasers glinting off him and his piano. Bulletboys had 1 song, Winger had 3, Cinderella (Tom) had a whole show! Top 5 concert of my life for sure!!

Tom Kiefer is a genuine musician and vocalist. Cinderella as a whole was never the typical hair band. Blues and hard-rock that penetrated the soul….

I had front row seats back in 1989 when they played the first Rock show at Deer Creek in Noblesville Indiana, he sat behind a white grand piano and played this, they really put on a excellent show that night. The Bullet Boys opened than Skid Row, and finally Cinderella played. Tom tried to throw a guitar pick to this hot blond behind me, but I caught it and gave it to the girl I was with, so he threw another that I also caught, he gave me this look and pointed to the blond so I delivered it to her, he gave me thumbs up. I was just a kid and he was a rock God to me. I'm pretty sure he called the chic backstage because near the end the usher came up and the girl walked off with him.

It’s unfortunate that Cinderella got lumped in with all the other 80s bands as just another hair metal act…… they never were, and Tom has more talent than 100 of those bands put together. Hugely underrated

This band and especially Tom Keifer were my favorite at the time they were at their peak and I must have played this Song a million times when I was alone in my car or my Bedroom and nobody complaining that I was playing it over and over & over again & I would do just that this song had meaning and Heart and soul and great Guitar riffs and was very well done,,, Cinderella and Poison were my very first CDS hell I didn’t even have a CD player of any kind yet at home or in my Car ,,, but that would soon change on my birthday I received a pioneer Car Stereo and Some Jensen 6x9 triaxle Speakers for the Back window and had a friend who knew how to put it in & wire it up & made it sound as great as it could & soon as money came in a nice equalizer amp and I was in,,, always cruising around with windows down and Music turned Up off the chain,,, thats how we rolled in them Days but this band really Made me lean very hard towards this kind and caliber of music it was what all my friends and anyone we knew were into & wanted to hear,,, the 80s music and girls & friends were the best times to be 16 years old and not a care in the world,,, had a job at the local gas station and made decent money for the times and I always had friends and girls loitering around with me at work,,, the boss didn’t like too many people hanging around there but it seemed to work out during the evening hours after boss man done first shift and went home to eat dinner and chill for the evening so once he was gone we had free rang of the station and he very rarely came by the station and if he did it was to pick up money from the safe and he always called ahead ???? Never understood that but it worked for me if a few more people that should have been there I had ample time to clear them out until he stopped by to pick up the money from the safe and went back home,,, it was like we did what we wanted to on second / slash 3rd shift we would come in around 5:00 or 6:00 in the evening and get off at 4:00 or 5:00 am if he sometimes came in a little earlier to get paperwork done and let us leave a hour or so early ?? I would go back to work there today if the place was still open,,, they eventually sold out the gas station to Star bucks,,, wow what a buzz kill, c it was a sort of Run down truck stop but we were always busy selling Gasoline or 2 or 3 semis waiting for A Diesel fill up & quick check of oil and clean their Windshields and mirrors and them truckers always tipped us pretty nicely actually especially if we did their mirrors and windshields the right way & make them streak free they always hooked us up with a little cash or some kind of cool watch or a six pack or something they had picked up out on the Road somewhere,,,, we were young and they always knew to have a little trinket we would like to have & enjoy,,,, people were always giving us little items and trinkets some guy gave us a huge box nice current Vinyl records because he was moving & I guess he did it to make his wife mad ??? But we didn’t care they were probably 50 albums or maybe even a few more than 50 but it was vanhelan Boston bob Seger doobie brothers and everything in between !!! People were just different back then they were our regular customers and some just passing through but they would still have the urge to Gift little things to us or of course some of the drunks gave us cash and usually a lot more than they probably should have !!! But they didn’t mind and us being teenagers we didn’t really mind it either 🤣🤣 some random country singer played his guitar and sang country music all night long one night he must have played from around 12:30 until it was almost daylight and he left his headlights on and we gave him a jump and he went on his way ??? He was a great musician and he could definitely play that guitar and sing,,, hell he was probably someone famous but we were mostly into rock music so we didn’t know any country music back then,,,, who knows it could have been Travis tritt or someone like that,,,, good times !!! Good time for be alive and 16 years old and have a job and a car !!!.

He's lost his high range, but he still sounds good. Super talented. I saw Cinderella twice - once on a co-headline arena tour w/Poison around 2000 or so and one with them headlining clubs a year or two before that. That night at the club the band was on fire. They rocked the shit out of that place. It was a magical, amazing night. They were on point and Tom hit all of his high notes back then. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

He's had 6 surgeries & is 63 years old, so its amazing that he still sounds so good! I hate seeing him struggle with his voice on some high notes bc he's worked so hard. He's always been a fantastic musician, singer & song writer! Tom is also a very kind & humble man. I've got great admiration for him. As a teen back in the 80's i had a super crush on him & the whole band! Still love listening to all of their albums
