The magic I see from the guests having a great time to cast members welcoming people into the line instead of just standing there with a wait time sign is amazing we talk about MGM as the “Hollywood that never was but always will be” I think in some way Tokyo is the “Disneyland that never was but always will be” from the Magic we see to classic attractions being left in their glory to t sets an example of why we are crazy Disney fans because we need to support a place like this! I hope with new management in the future we can restore this 🎉

The DL Space Mountain originally looked just like the TDL version. In 1980, you could see space vehicles fly past the large windows that looked into the attraction. I believe you could still see them in '84, when I revisited. The park looks awesome and my 31 yo daughter and I are starting to plan a trip in '25! Keep up the great work, Tom.

You beat me to the comment, but Yes the TDL Space Mountain is exactly like the pre 2005 overhaul of the Anaheim version. The hanging ship in the station is different, but that brought back so many childhood memories. All they need like Anaheim is a Peoplemover! Hello From Phoenix Arizona 🌡 🔥

30:44 - Yes. I grew up going to DL in Anaheim, 70's, 80's etc. I'd agree, that was the basic layout and look for the queue. Very minor differences, not enough to detract from your point. The mid 2000's update was really more about the exterior of the line queue, not the interior parts.

A family oriented Monsters "door coaster" at DHS would be a massive hit. It could have a very moderate build-cost, as it could use the Mack Inverted Powered Coaster - which is already like a hybrid of an omnimover and coaster, suspended like the door scene, and powered so it can stop and go in show scenes.

It’s so funny to see the Japanese rope drop etiquette because lemme tell you I went in expecting that in Shanghai and I was WRONG. The only time I’ve seen the people here full out sprint for anything, just to move 3 steps ahead in the cattle pen they have before you get to security, and for good reason! Lines are a suggestion and people will try to elbow past you (and your kids and your elderly) if they can get one person ahead in line for entrance AND for rides
