Thanks for the tour Ben! So many nice motors. I sure like those '57 & '58 Johnson's ready for a tune up and/or restoration. Mint!

You're welcome. I was going to do it last year and forgot. Another subscriber suggested I post a few videos from there this trip. I decided to take one of the strip and a couple on the boat cruise. There are some sweet motors there. Thanks for watching!

Ben, It was Great to finally meet you at Tomahawk, great to get the carb washer punch tool from you & the crank seal tool from your friend & the 25 hp Evinrude too ! Can't wait to try it out !! Really enjoyed your video's of the swap & the boat cruise on the WI river. Thanks so much for making the videos & for sharing with all of us ! Always Enjoy your motor lake run videos & your motor repair tutorial videos as well. I've learned a lot from those. Take care & hope to see you up in Tomahawk next year.

It was very nice meeting you as well. I really like the packing washers that punch kit makes. The tools are a lot of work to make. I don't get time to make them very often. I'm glad I had one with me to sell. Richard's seal pullers are great tools. Mine sees quite a bit of use. I hope you can find the blockage in the cooling system on that 25hp. It ran great other than running hot. It seems to be pumping plenty of water, but something has to be obstructed for it to run as hot as it does. I have had some success at flushing obstructions by hooking a garden hose up to the water tube and pressure flushing it that way. Sometimes the powerhead needs to come off and the cylinder head has to come off and you end up chasing bits of trash, impeller pieces, excess silicone sealer, bugs, etc out of the passages. I know it will be a good motor if you can get the cooling issue straightened out. I'm glad you enjoyed the videos I took at Tomahawk as well as my other content. Thanks for watching and being a subscriber. Lord willing, I'll be back next year. Take care.

@@oldjohnnyrude8404 Thanks Ben ! I'll get it checked out one of these months. For now it's sitting in my friend's garage in Rhinelander, as I didn't have room to bring it back with the 4 other motors I picked up on my WI trip & at Tomahawk. I'm sure you can relate, maybe ? ;) I'll try back flushing it first & then maybe go to compressed air with the gear case removed. Try it that way first w/o removing the power-head or the engine head & see if I have any luck ? I have 175psi compressed air here at home so that may dislodge the blockage, if it isn't too large or well packed in there ? I'll let you know what I find, once I get the motor back down here & dig into it. Be well, Safe & enjoy your outboards & the remainder of this year's boating season !

Great time at Tomahawk. There were a few of those there. I considered another, but if I get one I want a really nice one, otherwise I'll just stick with the one I have. Thanks for watching, Scott.

Man that looks like a ton of fun! Sorry to spam your page just wondering if you would watch my last video from today, finally got the 1968 110 going great, but I’m not seeing a telltale, surely I’ve done something wrong? There’s air coming out the vents on the top of the boot, but no water. Not sure if this is correct. New impeller and verified it with a drill before install. Thanks for your continued support brother. Looks like my kind of meet! Just a little beer and it’s a perfect day.

I keep reading and hearing about this meet being referenced but I had no idea it was so big. It's like a classic OMC all you can eat buffet. I would spend way too much money there.

Yes, this meet is very big. The Constantine meet in Michigan is the second largest meet of the year, at least in the Midwest. Tomahawk is probably 3-4x larger. It is really something to experience if you are into old outboards. Thanks for watching!
