Excellent tutorial - lots of good tips & tricks, and you can't argue with the results. The chips & flakes really make it convincing.

The finished product is excellent! I loose patience with doing the cracks and clearly patience is required!

Not bad for a scrap of foam I pulled out of the trash to do the demo on. lol I guess it will join the little patch of foam brick from the brick tutorial I have stuck to the back of my shop door.

Your work is quite extensive and it creates a really good effect. I just use a dremel to quickly carve out cracks I have drawn by hand, and then a heat gun to make it more organic. I’ll have to try this though the effect is way cleaner.

How do you store your tombstones? Do you put a peice of cardboard or something between them to keep them from getting scuffed?

I just stand them in a long row packed together as close as I can. The only issue I have is with ants wanting to make homes up in the inner support pipes.
