@@choiyatlam2552I don’t think Heineke is his floor. I think his floor is lower than that, but that isn’t a terrible thing. I’d say his floor is Tyrod Taylor, and his ceiling cannot be determined without more evidence. Tom Brady was not the GOAT when he started, but he became it despite his lack of physical talents. Devito can be the next Romo (shockingly similar story can play out). Undrafted FA, comes in mid-season to replace a floundering starting QB. Giants never look back at Jones and they ride the cold-cuts express. But, there’s a scenario that he turns into Carson Wentz. Hot start, never gets much done and falls off into obscurity, and becomes a semi viable backup.

Lol, the Giants are better with Divito is hilarious! Like Daniel Jones didn’t take them to the playoffs last year and set a playoff record! Daniel Jones was playing without Andrew Thomas/Saquon/ his center…had his backup guard playing left tackle and y’all asking why didn’t he play well? 🤦♂️ Meanwhile Purdy had 3 games without DeeBo n Williams and was horrible but hey it’s ok because his best players wasn’t playing? CONTRADICTIONS!!!!!

The excitement might fizzle out now, as they are going to play actual teams the rest of the season.

We got ourselves a good backup! DeVito is wearing the #15-just like one Jeff Hostetler.

Look at Josh Dobbs, the Passtronaut, he was loved for absolutely 2 1/2 games. Now he's toast as they say, now he's The PasstroNOT.

Giants fan here it’s nice to see this happening and it’s a good story. BUT we need to settle down a bit. He’s only played a few games. In this world of social media, all-day talk etc., things get hyped more than they deserve. I think this is more of a Jeremy Lin situation than Brock Purdy. It’s fun, but we have to calm down a bit.

It's a fun story, but they just paid Daniel Jones. Tommy will go back to being a backup.

The more of these "no name" QB's that come out of the woodwork and perform well, the more I realize that Pro Scouts and GM's are freaking idiots. As an Italian American Giants fan myself from NJ, I'm LOVING THIS!!

Enjoying the ride with Tommy 2 Gunz Devito. But on the flip side to be fair to DJ didnt have Saquon, Andrew Thomas or Wan dale when he was playing. Not to mention the strength of schedule is much easier
