Tommy nails everything he touches, and he has been going on since he was 14. Done a lot of collabs with different bands and persons. And he seems to enjoy every minute of it, can it be his secret weapon? Maybe...

Another fantastic cover, to no surprise! Another brilliant version by this song is done by a duo called Valyant. They do alot of Rock/Punk/Metal covers of a wide range of different songs, & I would highly recommend checking some of thier stuff out, because they both have some truly amazing vocals, that compliment each other & work really well, both together & individually!

I just listened to Tommy for the first time about 15 minutes ago and thought he was incredible. Then I saw your video and decided to check it out. Great song and great reaction!! You mentioned triangle? Stevie T did "Through the Fire and Flames" on a triangle when DragonForce wanted him as their triangle player. Tommy could probably do it too 🙂 Ok back to this song....Loved it!

Like you said, every song he does is an upgrade, or at least, just as good as the original. This one is not the exception. I love the original Bonnie Tyler song, but I prefer Tommy's version. If you want to see Tommy's skill on the bass and some more killer vocals, check out his cover of Helloween's Eagle Fly Free

I think Jim Steinman (who wrote and (i believe) produced this song for Bonnie Tyler for the film Footloose (original version)) would have loved this version, too bad he didn't live to hear it.

Jim also wrote for meatloaf rip i believe he used part of the guitar from bad for good

@@elifighter Very true (I thought that went without saying to be honest) ... If you listen to Jim's work for Meatloaf, Bonnie Tyler, Pandora's Box and his solo work (and probably other stuff he did as well) you will find songs and portions of songs and such were often re-used. While not a song, on Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" album (which he produced and wrote 2 songs for) the is a song (that he didn't write) where he was a "Sexy woman's voice" where he says "I'll do anything for love, but I won't do that".... sound familiar? (The song was "Getting so excited" written by Alan Gruner)

@@elifighter Come to think of it, I am certain part of this was used on Pandora's Box's album, can't remember which track off hand. Pandora's Box was a girl band the Steinman put together. The reuse of bits of music isn't surprising as Steinman was from a musical theatre background and so reusing themes is normal, also most of the songs he wrote for Meat Loaf and Pandora's Box were intended for a musical version of Peter Pan, originally to be called Neverland Express (Which became the name of Meat Loaf's band, who are still touring)... but after decades of delay was finally released as "Bat Out of Hell the Musical."

Expected nothing less from Sabaton's guitarist. Oddly enough this is not the first time he did this song, he has done it previously years ago as ReinXeed, where he changed up the lyrics.
