I love what Epiphone is doing, but cannot get behind the indian laurel fretboard. The Standard 60's Epi I own has an extremely porous fretboard which can be felt while playing.

Nice case, I’d buy it for the case! I don’t know who Tommy Thayer is but he must be a good guitarist. Oh as I’m writing this I see he was in Kiss. Why am I writing all this? I like the purple look in certain lighting.

Looks purple in some light & also green sparkles too. It's awesome looking in person. Pics & videos don't do it justice.

Hi there! I'm kinda of a grease-phobic person. Does conditioning the board leave any oil getting on your hands when you play?
@guitarswithdavid4422

Not that I have ever experienced. If you put too much in, and leave it for too long it might have residual oils seep up for a few days.

Great review, where do you buy your Epi’s from? The packaging in the case is well done. Thanks for posting.

@@guitarswithdavid4422 they were backed up and I offered to pay more . Suddenly poof it's ready ... It feels like a $75 junk guitar. Honestly I'm sad about it lol. I'm laughing but I'm not. It feels horrible to play. Like you need vice grips and not smooth or easy to play at all ? I did tell them low and smooth... It's nothing like I asked.
