For the study that calories increase aging thats really picking on specifics, there is a peer review study that shows that more muscle in natural individuals (non enhanced) lead to more longevity, so more calories for muscle gain is good, if you eat WAY too much calories and dont train it will lead to fat and thats what cause you to die earlier, just saying calories increase risk of dying earlier is really weird for a channel that has so much good information

everywhere you see death, when you look at the table you see a dead tree, when you look at paper, you see a dead tree, when you look at a tyre made from crude oil you see the remains of dead organisms. Death is everywhere, and instead of fearing death you must befriend death, when we befriend death its force doesn't necessarily derail us in the same way. The grief and pain are still deeply felt, of course, but we are better equipped to accept loss and make peace with death. The greatest wisdom that guides men to happiness is to see the death infront of you, "You could leave life right now. Let that determine what you do and say and think." - Marcus Aurelius.

Isn't that what most people say until they actually come very close to dying? I think the real test to check how afraid you actually are is being on the verge of death, whether you intentionally got here or not

It’s actually been shown that when suicidal people are on the brink of death, they experience a reaction akin to wanting to live. It’s a natural response in that moment not to want to die. Also, many people who narrowly survived suicide attempts have stated that they felt afraid and did not want to die.

I disagree with Tommy that religion is a way of deluding yourself from accepting that death is the end. Although many major world religions do contain the aspect of a promised life/paradise after death, or reincarnation of some kind, not all do. Some branches of Judaism for example explicitly believe that death is the end of existence, and there is no resurrection or afterlife. As a religious person, I recognize that my faith might be wrong, and I have no definitive proof of the afterlife. Nonetheless, I choose to believe in religion/spirituality as I believe that humanity has discovered a greater Truth which we must cherish while still possessing sentience. Tommy is never going to read this comment anyways, hi markoni if ur there

Yeah i think they're is a god. I dont know if theres an afterlife but we definitely reincarnate and their are definitely ghost( not like those stupid tv shows).my family has videos of me as a baby talking about being a marine and being killed in Vietnam. i was going into such details and name actual locations it's actually really creepy because im also going to the marines so i hope it doesn't repeat. I also talked about my grandfather who die 10 years before i was born. It not just me but you can find hundreds of story of babys and kids talking about past lifes and the afterlife.

It's likely due to your brain filling in patterns which were once there but suddenly no longer are; phantom sensations. You might have noticed that every now and then, you'll hear your phone, or feel it vibrate as if a notification has popped up, but when you check it, there's nothing. That's this in action, it's simply your brain deceiving you due to the patterns it has established. Another example is phantom pain, where sometimes people who've had their limbs amputated can still feel their would-be-limb, including pains, brushings, etc. You hearing scratching on your carpet is also likely this, as your brain may not have yet internalized the fact that your dog wasn't around anymore.

I think Death is something that shouldn't be feared. It should be accepted. It is natural and supernatural at the same time. It is an extraordinary but ordinary end to the final chapter of a book of ups and downs called Life.

And death has to occur so that life can develop. If, say, land plants suddenly stopped dying, they’d absorb all the nutrients into themselves and make new life completely impossible. Any critical flaws in their physiology would never get fixed through evolution. The beauty of death is that it makes way for better things to exist. Without it, life stops adapting.

Agreed! Theirs been many cases of children talking abt their "past lives" the first one that comes to mind is a little girl whom talks abt how her grandfather (I think?) Was murdered with on the dot descriptions of how it actually happened (of course having no prior knowledge abt it from any source spoken or written) she also spoke of it as it was herself "I was stabbed" etc etc not to mention i myself have almost no memory from most of my childhood till I was abt 7? 8? (Granted alot of that is normal since memories don't stick for a time in adolescents) but still it doesn't take away from the fact I always felt like I was just "plopped" into existence if that makes any sense 😆

Well Tommy will know when he is a dad. First you can't die because your kids need you and you are their whole world and provider. Then when they can cope themselves in the world you'll don't want to die because you want to see your kids develop and be with them on their journey. Eventually they hopefully get kids and you'll want to stick around to get to know them too and become the boomer you where destined to be. Kids flip the whole existence of being upside down. I have two and it happened to me.
