This is a great review! Is a true loss that TomTom is shutting down it's wearable business?

@@adventurelibrarian Hey Diana, since youve used it in the Galapagos; do you recommend this watch as a GPS for traveling?
@adventurelibrarian

@@mia2lite499 Hi Mia2, thanks for your question. When I used it in the Galapagos, it was during a 5-hour volcano hike and a coastal bike ride - I wanted to track the different data (e.g. elevation, distance) and see it on a map later, but it wasn't for navigating around if that was what you mean by using the watch as a GPS for travelling. Hope that helps!

Great video and review: do you know if there are notifications (vibrations or voice, if you have purchased the cardio music version) when you run...informing you of timing every 1km? Thanks

Thanks Luca! Great question - I've never set up distance notifications, but I looked it up for you and it looks like it is possible to set up buzzing vibrations if you set a distance goal - en.discussions.tomtom.com/runner-multi-sport-184/km-notifications-978025#post996729 I hope that helps :D

Great review. Would anyone know if you can save multiple activities before uploading to the Tomtom sync?

Thanks Nathan! Not sure about saving multiple activities but don't hesitate to give their support staff a shout - whenever I had a question or suggestion, they always responded pretty quickly. :-)

It has 4 gb of storage as long as you dont run out of space it will safe the activities on the watch, pretty late but maybe there are others who had the same question

Hi. As you were snowboarding did you get info regarding speed and distance? I thought its only in tomtom adventurer.

Hi Karolina! I believe I did get speed however, I'm a slowwww, non-speed demon snowboarder lol so I wasn't too concerned about what speed I was clocking in at lol :D

How long does the watch take to charge?
@adventurelibrarian
6 жыл бұрын
Not long at all...even when I've completely drained it to the point where the digital display doesn't even show anything, I think it takes less than an hour to charge it up.

Is the gps good enough to track small sprints ? I'm not trying to do long jogs Want to track times for 50 feet sprint Can it track that accurately enough via step counting or GPS?
