i just wanna say when I'm looking for guitar reviews or demos, this is exactly what I'm looking for-- someone who most importantly knows how to play guitar, someone who can play a wide variety of styles showing the versatility of the guitar and also someone who doesn't have a mouth. If i want gear details i can read about it, just fucking play. Kudos to this guy for being awesome. Hope to see more bro.

Damn, that single-coil sound is freaking iconic, can’t believe there’s a guitar that can sound so like strat but can do humbucker stuff at the same time

Have this guitar in purple, and it’s one of my favorite guitars I’ve ever owned. It does everything, and does such a great job of cutting through other instruments without drowning them out, or becoming too much to work with in the mix. Great action, very easy to switch between doing Mark Knopfler-solo type stuff, straight into heavy shit like Dopethrone, totally on the fly. 10/10 would recommend the Lead III as both a touring instrument, and an all-around great guitar.

My kind of guitar. Practical, simple, sounds great, and no whammy! Hardtails rule. Better tone and sustain and punch.

@@CreamCityMusic I have often bought far lesser guitars (at least pricewise and repwise) just not have a hardtail. My main guitar I play these days is an entry level Schecter Deluxe with a string-thru body stop tail design and it sounds and plays incredible. Cost me $250 bucks. I popped in a Duncan JB/Jazz set and couldn't be more thrilled. Love it. The Fender Lead III is a big big step up even from this guitar, and the price is right. I love Fender designs. They are so practical and solid.

I'm old enough to remember when the Lead Series first came out, lol. I'm glad to see them again. Great demo. Very versatile guitar. BTW, those are the chimiest humbuckers I have ever heard!

These guitars in my opinion are way better than strats and teles, i have four original lead i ii and iii, 4 strats 4 teles, but my go toos are the lead series, those over wound seth lover humbuckers are hard to beat

To its light and small body, make it only one alnico ii humbucker with tremolo, ebony fingerboard, black hardware and matching head, an Allan holdsworth's guitar done. Make it only one rail pickup with only one volumn knob, 24 scale and CBS head, an Omar Rodriguez-Lopez' guitar done. Both of them are my favourite guitarists.

Im surprised how dreamy the neck is, more comfortable than my American Professional ii neck, which I also love, but this one is thicker and fits the hand well. Its kind of in between the American Original 60s tele neck and the apii strat neck

And jazz standards can sound on it? 2 5 1 and different interpretation of Duke Ellington? Or is the sound too rich for nonchords?

do you think this would be a good beginner guitar? i mean, i can play the basics, like maybe 20 chords or something, so i generally do know how to play, but have never had an electric guitar. i had kind of decided to settle on a squier classic vibe 70s, because of the price, but i just love the sound of this one SO MUCH more

Excellent demo as always! I’m enjoying my self-imposed quarantine with another 80s guitar that I would love to see reissued: the Katana. Mine is the Squier version with a single humbucker and volume control. Sounds fantastic and plays like a dream! And of course, you can’t argue with FujiGen quality. If they reissued either the Fender or Squier version in some form or another I’d be the first one in line to buy one! By the way, is the Lead 25.5 inch scale length?

Hi Ross! We're actually using a Strymon Iridium pedal! :) It's been on our last four vids. Otherwise we alternate between Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Fender Deluxe Reverb, and a Fender Princeton. All either 65 or 68 reissues. :) - If you need a deal holler at us! 262-860-1800

That's a great question. We're not sure if the neck pocket would fit right but we're thinking there would definitely be some re-drilling for the neck screws. We're going to have to look into it!
