All the perfect people make some noise as sung by The Walls Group I’m so glad for Gods Mercy and Grace 🙌🏾 Through out my years of studying God’s word and teaching I’ve received I’ve seen that God didn’t use people that were perfect I’ve learned to remember that we are all human and scripture says that God remembers that we are flesh so we will make mistakes and sometimes to where we seem to can’t get out of it or stop and God even has to send someone or something to bring it to our attention but when our eyes become open to see clearly we must get on a path to repentance (being Godly sorry) and ready to follow God’s direction to be back in right standing to be delivered and I thank God that his Love covers a multitude of sin 👏🏽because I know Man no matter if you’ve done a thousand things right all you have to do is mess up one time and it just might be over for you but I also know that Jesus can Restore you and put you back better because the Gifts and Calling of God are Without Repentance 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

He’s a false teacher if you read your Bible for yourself you would know that. His commentary is just that his commentary. Why do so many “Christians “ use so many other books to understand the Bible. JUST READ THE BIBLE AND ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR AN UNDERSTANDING. Remember when Paul talked about if anyone comes preaching another gospel …..the Religion of Christianity is another Gospel that’s why there are so many denominations it’s all man made opinion of the Bible. So called Christians are living under a strong delusion. THE BIBLE IS GOD’S WORD …..MAN MADE TEACHING HAS TAUGHT YOU ALL A WRONG UNDERSTANDING OF WHO GOD IS AND WHO HE WAS TALKING TO IN THE BIBLE …CHRISTIANITY HAS POISONED PEOPLES MIND AND GIVEN THEM A FALSE PERSPECTIVE OF WHO GOD IS AND WHO HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE ARE. It's not just Pastor Evans decision. We have a board of elders. Kirk got the same treatment when had the confrontation with his son. He had to talk to the Elders. Matter of fact, that goes for any member. If you were a member, and you had a abusive mate. You reached out to the church for help. The church is going to contact your mate for they side. The Elders will not Tell Everybody Your business or situation. That's just respect and what is gained by letting the church know your business. So, No he is not obligated to tell everyone , so they can talk about on these media platforms. The public has nothing to gain by knowing that your mate has been putting hands on you. Didn’t the Bible say in first John that we should confess or since the one another so that we can be healed? Of course he should tell his congregation what the sin is. The scripture that it is a true that will set you free. You can’t ask forgiveness of your congregation if they don’t know what this is. How will you be restored if you don’t say what it is that you sin and what this sin is. Didn’t Jesus at I mean didn’t God came down and asked Adam and Eva they did. Why do you think God asked them? What have they done? God already knew what they did. Why do you think the reason for him to ask them, what have they done? I believe so they can take accountability for their actions rather than doing that they blame shifted. I think that he owes it to his congregations and the millions who listen to him and follow them and believed in his ministry, he owed them to let it know what he did repent of the sin. and maybe God God will raise them up. Look at Jimmy Swaggart. He has a really awesome ministry and I watch God’s restoration and the ministries restored and the legacy that is leaving behind. God is not about to throw anyone away. He wants to restore he wants to forgive, and yes, we should do the same as fellowcitizens of the kingdom of God. But let’s not pretend that he does not need to confess to the people that he’s leading or had been leading.

Now may be the time that he finally choose to listen. Please be careful about how we talk about the struggles of others. We will all be judged for our words and actions before God. I see a lot of people in the comments saying he doesn’t have to disclose exactly what he did and when he did it, but I’m going to have to disagree. I say that, because it leaves a lot of room for speculation like it’s already proven to be the case. Because he is a public figure and was holding such a high office in the faith, he has to repent publicly. Also, just imagine how many people he could relate to that may be currently struggling with the same sin he committed. His testimony could influence others in a positive way.

I get it, i hate those pastors who have confessed to pedophilia, homosexual behavior, etc and then go back to leading a church. I 100% get it. It’s a sin to gossip ma’am, Also it’s honorable to confess your shortcoming or fall from grace privately and it’s laudable to confess publicly, his only responsibility to his congregates which I’m one of them proudly, is to lead by example and take accountability as God’s timing would see fit, not on any humans insatiable desire to want the dirt🙏🏾Tony Evans is a wonderful spiritual leader whose legacy will be well respected and remembered as God has ordained it Biblical ❤ This is nothing to ponder on he’s a flawed man just like the rest of us Periodt🙏🏾

I would be very careful about going after God's anointed in order to get paid on social media. You didn't disclose anything other than what has already been obviously stated. You want to compel people to know what the sin is, for what? To be nosey? This man is walking in more integrity than you will ever know. He fell short, years ago. He's stepping down now. There are pastor's who have been sinning for years very openly and y'all still sitting in their churches while they preach. Please! Leave this man of God alone and stop trying to make him accountable for Kirk's actions. He may be the reason Kirk hasn't gone all the way left. Pray for this man of God to be restored soon. We need more like Him in this hour. The enemy ain't coming for these preachers who water down the Word of God and satisfy your itching ears. He's coming for those who are making disciples as Christ commanded. Dr. Tony Evans, we love you and we are praying for you and your family.

If you really think that we can see all our own sin in real time, then you don’t know what sin is. The longer I live putting my faith in God, the more I see the truth about the person I really am - a broken sinner. And sometimes I don’t see certain truths about me - who I am, how I think, what I am doing to myself and to others - until I’ve already caused hurt. I told my dad I was sorry the other day about something I did as a kid that affected him. I didn’t see it till recently. I’m 52. My dad is 83. I jokingly but truthfully told him that I guess I still have some growing up to do. He said, “Me too, and I’m in my 80’s.” We are all in a lifelong transformation, if we let God lead us.

Members should always pray for their pastor and remember he is also your brother who needs your prayers and forgiveness. You should not throw him away just because somewhere in his life he has sinned...somewhere in your life you have sinned and Nobody has thrown you away. The Lord's way is to forgive and tell you to go and sin no more. If you throw every pastor away whose going to preach and teach. Unless the Lord led him to step down he should not have done it. The same God who forgives you will forgive him and continue to use him. Peter denied the Lord 3 times but the Lord did not throw him away but restored him right back into fellowship and ministry...and whatever sinned he committed is none of our business. Church can be a detrimental place to confess anything. Where is the love, compassion, help for restoration? Gossip, busy bodies, speculation, conviction and penalties is what is sought. This is despicable and certainly not Christlike. I can imagine what would happen if we knew details. Why are we not praying and allowing the Lord to deal with His servant. @bwaz606
2 ай бұрын
The father in the Prodigal son had two sons.... One did him wrong outwardly the other did him wrong in his heart. But we did not blame the Father when the sons went wayward. Not sure how him being Kirk Franklin's Spiritual father is relevant. All Tony Evans can do is correct Kirk if Kirk is doing wrong. Besides Kirk is not his only son and a true Father stands by his sons no matter what. God does not discard us because we are living wayward and sinning does he? He does everything to get us back to himself and he still loves us so judging Tony Evans by his spiritual son is reaching at best. Since his sin happened years ago. Surely he dealt with it years ago with God and if God has forgiven him and his family has forgiven him, then I don't need to hear any more. Sure we all wish he dealt with it publicly when it happened but unfortunately he did not. We should not put him away and discard him because he sinned. God does not do that to us. As for Christians we are the most unforgiving bunch of hypocrits.... one strike and you are gone yoooooo. Now his Church may not want to be attached to scandal, so they are distancing themselves ahead of time. Because whatever it is, it will come out some day. I wonder how much love that is for a person who sacrificed and served them for 50 years. He likely was forced to step down once his church found out and confirmed story because nowadays forgiveness and restoration and redemption are not fashionable. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. If he asked God for forgiveness, I will not condemn him. The woman caught in adultery is a good example of what Jesus would do. Incidentally whoever he committed this sin with, where is that person and is that person also stepping down and being restored??

You can't hold Tony Evans responsible for what others are doing. Sounds like he was trying to help Kirk Franklin but what Kirk did on his own he's responsible for his own sin. Now maybe Pastor Tony Evans shouldn't done was to give Kirk a warning to come clean and if so than if Kirk didn't take the warning than that's When Pastor Tony Evans needed to tell the church that he no longer could cover this spiritual son. I've seen this done by another high profile Pastor. Let's not judge and destroy Pastor Tony Evans but let's pray for restoration to be done in him and those around him that are affected by these actions. Love, forgive and let God Restore. 🙏🙏🙏
