After playing the GBA THPS games and then going to this, I was thoroughly let down.

Nahhh, they're bad. But that's what made it great. I remember just being stoked I had a Tony Hawk available to play. The only time I got to play was on weekends at my dad's. So even a shitty Game Boy advance port was really solid. It takes a long time to learn how to read the depth and navigate levels. But once you got it, it has a very similar flow.

Let me tell you man... i was about 10 when i got thps3 for my birthday and it quickly became my favorite game. Then christmas rolled around and i got thps3 for the gbc.... i was so excited!!! So i popped it in to my blue gbc and it was like santa shit in my stocking. Iimagine tony hawk ruining your Christmas... The memory haunts me to this day

I owned all of them when they were released mostly because my parents didn't allow me to have a console until I was a bit older so I was on my gameboy all the time. As absolutely huge into skating as I was beginning to get back then as well as video games, I 100% knew they were inferior to the console versions after playing those at friends houses but I still cherished them because it's all I had. I can definitely attest to the third one being completely ridiculous with those hi scores and sometimes impossible combos and level designs lol I'd honestly say my favorite out of the gameboy versions is still the second one, I was totally hooked on that one. Great job covering them all in the way you did, had I never played them I probably would not even bother but they were definitely a part of my childhood!

I enjoyed the original on gameboy as a kid, definitely not as much as on N64, but I enjoyed playing it. One trick to help in tournament mode is ollieing off your grind and back onto the same rail before landing. Increases points and speed.

Great video once again, Prick. Though just a SLIGHT correction as THPS 3 was developed by Hot Gen Studios, not Vicarious Visions.

I always go out of my way to view your new videos (and yes, the notifications work!) My favorite video of yours is your one about Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit), so good Viewership count can be really discouraging on KZitem, but please know that your work is appreciated~ Cheers

Well I'm glad to hear someone's got that notification bell on 👍🏻 Wow that's an old one, I remember I really enjoyed making that video, everything was still pretty new to me at the time when it came to making videos. Really glad to hear you enjoyed it though, any other game you'd like to see me cover? Not going to lie this comment has made my day! To be honest I just do this as a fun little hobby, don't get me wrong the few quid you can make on the side from it is great but I'd never leave my full time job to do KZitem. I've always said as long as I enjoy making these videos, new ones will keep being posted. The day it feels like a chore will be the day it ends but that's seems like a long time away from now. You do your bit by watching the videos and that's all I can ask for and if you enjoy them that's even better. Appreciate the kind words man, totally made my day this.

To those who are suprised the games aren't in 3D, it was common knowledge back then that big games had their 8-bit version on the GameBoy Color Not knowing that would be like mixing up the 2 magazines, N64 Édition Québec and Québec Gameboy Couleur, that they sold in depanneurs in Quebec in the early 2000's. Those magazines had color cover-pages, but the pages inside were black and white. Just don't imagine that these 2 magazines had color pages in them if you want to visualize them well

A friend of mine had one of the games (I think it was 2) on PS1, but the main way I experienced this series was with the GBA version of THPS3, and I was fairly satisfied with it back then!

"Aggressive Inline" right? I saw it in game stores but never bought it, I guess I wasn't sure if I would like it so I didn't want to spend the money on it. I always thought it looked cool though, so I definitely would have given it a try

@@beerdrinker_6930 That was it!!!! I begged my mom for it cause I was in that "sk8r" phase but hated skateboards. Roller blading appealed more to me because you actually wear the blades instead of having to balance and stay on the board.
