bruce was great, but he used alot of camera effects. he didnt do much hardcore stuff. stuff where he could actually get hurt. and the thing that buggs me about lee movies, is when hes fighting multiple people, they just run up to him with their arms down and get hit in the face. i would have to say that even though lee was a legend, tony is more talented, and his scenes are more entertaining.

in north america its called "The Protector" amazing movie. this video doesnt even show all of the fight scenes. there are way more. they actually broke a record for the longest single shot fight scene. its like 4 minutes of constant action, hes running around in a huge resutrant fighting a bunch of people.

Yeah he is a great actor. And iam shure that he study the art of muay thai. But theres is a big differents in acting and real fighting. But him in the ring whit Buakaw or saenchai sor kingstar, or Yodsaenklai. and i promise you, that he will get his ass kicked.!!

Um, no. Sorry. Bruce Lee was good, but Tony Jaa is probably the best martial artist out there in entertainment nowadays. He only has two movies, and by god he's already awesome. Though, if Lee was still alive, he might have surpassed him. He did leave a great legacy.

@whiteout130, premise is Tony Jaas character lives in Thailand and his people live alongside elephants. But one day 2 of them are stolen, his grandfather is killed and Jaa has to infiltrate Australias blackmarket of crime and violence to get them back.

We don't need pretty people to be characters from a fighting game in films. Just give us people who can do shit. I think the first thing that went through people's minds were "Tekken". Hmm, Tekken force mode to be more precise ;p

I dunno if someone has understood some of his unique fighting techniques, like he doesn't rely on his own strength he takes advantage on other one's own weight, like he never attacks, he simply counters them! It's innovating, don't remember seeing anybody doing this.

tony Jaa grew up in a rural area and watched films by Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Li(see his bio) Bruce lee, jack Chan jet lee and Tony Jaa they have different style which people from the west don't understand, i believe Bruce lee was more like Karate jet Li more like Shaolim, Wushu, Chinese martial arts jack Chan is more like kung fu and tony jaa Thai martial arts which is more hand and leg fight whereas jet li and jack is more acrobat style, and Bruce is like Mohamed ali first king but stil

bruce lee's base was off of wushu and wing chun. he added a ton of muay thai and fillipino styles later in life. tony jaa started in gymnastics, learned muay thai and later added some more of chinese style later. same combinations, just in different orders. either way, you are right though. bruce was way quicker. both of them are righty, but bruce liked to fight with the right leg in front while tony has the left leg in front

They should really keep Tony Jaa's DNA in order to make a possible clone in the future, he's getting older and he hasn't shown us everything he can do! Why doesn't Tony Jaa enter Hollywood to make american movies, man that would be great, just imagine, he could play with Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Jean Claude Van Damne, etc.. IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES!!!

I doubt Bruce and Tony would be enemites, Bruce was a good man, Tony is actually teh complete opposite of what he is in his movies, he's pure and laid back. Seeing them figth side by side would be awesome, but nothign wrogn with friendly competition either... it's a toss up who'd win though. They're both lethal in thier own ways.

@dran710 I heard it from an interview he did. he said he has the scars to prove it. now that he's getting older, he might be using a stuntman. but in most of his movies, I totally believe he does his own. it would be hard for a stuntman to move like he can and look like him.

tony jaa sells muay thai pretty well when he charges at nathan jones and knocks him down with the knees to the chest. but given the real world size differential of at least 1 foot of height and 150+ lbs, i doubt tony jaa could do that to nathan off camera.
