Proud of my Uncle Tony...fond memories of him coming to visit us in NY.❤ Going to Carnegie Hall behind the scenes meeting Dizzy Gillespie and Mel Torme as a kid. Never forget standing behind stage watching them perform, it was priceless...THE BEST!!!!...Our family treasured receiving his letters from around the world❤......Miss you😢

Tony Scott is JAZZ, Organic Real Jazz in its purest form. His appreciation for and understand of the Blues are sound - no pretending. Clarinet altissimos are colossally great; won't you say?

Ha, guess it rubs you the wrong way. If you are aware of his albums you know he has total control and can play at a whisper or at a roar like he does here. He was a fascinating artist of the highest caliber and took jazz in new directions.
