I like Dr. Bellows rebuff when he says at the end "I'm finally glad to see you do this to someone else" then Paul Lynde replies "About that trip to Jamaica". Great lines & an unforgettable show. If you didn't love IDOJ then U weren't human.

He did three. In season 3 he was a director and in the other one (Please Don’t Feed the Astronauts) he was Commander Porter with a moustache. It’s the one where we meet Jeannie’s cousin.

"ICET100," Paul Lynde is earning another paycheck from Screen Gems, producer of both "Bewitched" and "Jeannie" -- who a few years later gave him his own sitcom, "The Paul Lynde Show" -- that needed all the magic Jeannie and Samantha could muster but alas, the Nielsen Ratings did not warrant a second season.

1:28 Every time they show an outside view of Major Nelson's house, I try to match up the inside with what I see on the outside and it just doesn't match up. Look at all those windows and there's a whole left wing of the house we never get to see. Look at the windows to the right of the entry door. When they show the inside of that same door, there is a wall there, supposedly Tony's bedroom is on the other side of that wall, but look at those windows! Do those look like bedroom windows?
@diosoth
3 жыл бұрын
That's common with TV shows where they would film a real house for the exterior but the set wouldn't be built to match. Even in the 90s it happened. Video games do it too, look up the video where someone put the Super Mario 64 castle interior on the same map as the exterior. Elder Scrolls is also rather bad about doing it.
@im1who84u

@@diosoth I figured as much. It's just something I do when I am watching movies. I look for shadows on the walls that may show boom mics or camera equipment. Or when cars pull up, I look at the reflection in the windows and you can see the camera crew. You can't do this with the newer movies because computers and CGI allow them to make it all disappear. Also another fun thing to notice in old westerns, is the sky. Sometimes you can see "con-trails" in the sky from jets. I noticed this blaring con-trail in an old Davy Crockett movie from Disney. Also in the original "Ten Commandments" movie, notice in the beginning of the movie when baby Moses is being taken from the water. I didn't know they had metal safety pins or diapers back then.

The upstairs study is the most obvious. The window where his telescope is faces his front yard. The window near his desk across the room faces his back patio. He climbed up the patio trellis in ‘My Double Crossing Master’ and entered in the window by the desk to change from Dr Geoffrey Tiffin-Smythe back into Tony. The distance from the window facing the patio to the window facing the front of the house is nowhere the lengthy distance from the downstairs white patio doors to the actual front door.

@@MMAfighter38113 Yea, that's something I've always noticed about his upstairs "study". It seems kinda tiny for that house.
