Reminds me of my first kart, a 100cc Techno kart. The memories are great and this video of you propperly pushing is exactly what I want to see!

Your smoothness is really something else. I L O V E the way you slide the kart and take the next two corners as one without even turn the wheel. (6:01)

One helluva great job driving. You get that TK around that track extremely well. Probably scared the driver of the more modern kart when he noticed your lack of real braking zone.

Can you explain the reaching down with your right hand to the airbox? Always wondered what this is.

you close the air off, and the engine take a gab off full

exactly when should you be covering the air going in on this engine? how do you know when to do that?
@caluzzucarrazzi5549

You're doing it to flood the engine since 2 strokes are lubricated by the fuel they run. After running at top rpm by the end of the straight the engine has been strained at high rpms so, while you are still at full throttle just before you brake for the corner, you cover the airbox and flood the motor, this ensures it is lubricated well and prevents a seize which is especially important in direct drive applications

@@gilmertens8634 it depends on the oil. Be careful, with some (shell if my memory is ok), 5% is not enough. you will need 7% with shel oil.

The more revs, the more oil - and the same for heavy loads, direct drive being really bad about heavy loading…
