He’s the New York City bass-baritone version of Elvis Presley. That talented. What an intense bass-baritone voice! It has a combination of the Northern brown eyed country music sound, and the Northern brown eyed gospel sound.

This is my fourth favorite movie after Rocky 1, Rocky 2, Rocky 5, then it’s Paradise alley. All of them show the struggle in the slums and being broke. I can relate to that!

Rocky is my favorite movie of all time. Rocky 1 just has the struggle story, but this actually comes in as my 4th favorite movie after Rocky 1, Rocky 2, Rocky 5 (ik but it’s really good movie showing the downfall!), and then Paradise alley. I actually box so that adds onto me loving all the rocky movies. But paradise alley is such a hidden gem that doesn’t get enough praise!

I grew up with rocky and just all Stallone movies. It’s funny cuz I was born in the early 2000’s but am somehow stuck in the 80’s. I wish everything was the same kind of style. From the way I dress all the way to the music I listen to, it’s all old school.

Watched this film as a young girl probably around the rocky years and watching these Stallone films bring back some fantastic memories ❤ my brother is younger than me and very nostalgic so sends me lots of stuff,he sent me this,What a fantastic time in life to have the pleasure of all these great films and young actors that were coming through,thinking about life back then and just wishing I could go back for even one day to the happiness and carefree life we lived,all doom and gloom these days!

If you really look at the acting, Stallone lacked in a few scenes ... He directed himself and this film probably should have been directed by somebody else. He was still fairly new but he was feeling cocky and directed his first film. Too cocky. But that happens. His brother Frank should have sang the opening song also. But look, if I was Sly I would have done exactly the same as he because that's how you do it in America in the 70s.😁🇺🇸

I saw the movie in the cinema in 1978, I went to work in 1980 and bought a VCR with my first salary. The first movies I rented were Rocky, Rocky 2 and Paradise Alley. Nowadays there is no longer a DVD of Paradise Alley available and that is a shame. 🎥🎞🎬👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Technically Stallone did a great job with this movie. Unfortunately, I did not take to him playing a cocky wise guy with an earring. I could not accept seeing Rocky behave this way. Sorry Sly.
