I am so completely satisfied with my Fractal AX-8. The Morgan AC20 Deluxe model in it is IMHO completely worth the price of the whole unit alone. Sounds so amazing for worship at church! All glory and honor to Jesus Christ! Great job guys! Love all you do for worship ministries!

No one seems to mention this when comparing Stomp to Stomp XL, but it might be make or break for some-the Stomp XL has one more snapshot than the Stomp. It’s not just more footswitches.

My gear acquisition has slowed to a CRAWL since I got the Helix LT late last year. I haven't even dug into the meat of it yet, I've just been playing with patches trying to get some stuff for covers. I don't play live anymore so 100% of my playing is practice and simply for fun and I feel like the Helix keeps me busy. I always wanted a Kemper but I don't see the need anymore. I can get the rough equivalent of any tone I want with fairly minimal tweaking.

Most of the PW guys (Droff , Daniel Carson, etc.) who play DC30s use the 2nd/ef86 channel to my knowledge. Ive had DC30 and a nighthawk and set them at wake up point (9-10 o clock with master max) and it’s “the” DC30 sound to “me”. It’s clean or dirty with only difference in picking. Daniel Carson has a great KZitem video showing how he sets his DC30. There’s pics online of Droffs settings. Both ef86/2nd channel.

I agree and disagree with flexibility of PodGo with acoustic and electric guitars. I got the PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo setup in a similar fashion through PodGo input and the return of the FX Loop with the split outputs of the guitar. It works and gets the job done but I know the helix gives way more flexibility. Inspiration for my setup was from your video review on the same guitar

OK so 'Just for Men' is the go for your beard BUT you have to go much lighter for the colour and also really under-cook your timing. I've learnt the hard way too haha. But trust, do this and it will come out looking much more natural.

Nothing through my es335 and my Helix sounds like the real thing to me. Maybe all the software line 6 creates is geared to strats, teles, lps, and PRSs. I think also that, after Leo Fender, few tube amp designers voiced their amps for humbucker equipped hollowbodies, archtops, or semihollows.

I am behind... I got baited by the sad new posts and went back and caught up with some... maybe you guys have brought it up before but for some of you guys who need an amp and a silent solution and want to keep a pedalboard, why aren't you choosing a Fender Tone Master variation? The Princeton is tiny. The Deluxe Reverb would hold a little pedalboard in the back... the Twin for sure... I dont know seems like some folks are wanting simple modeling pedal solutions and going to war with themselves and also you sometimes need an amp too?! The Tone Master stuff is incredible... the DI and the IRs they chose are magical... anyway if you have the space for an amp and want to save some money and not have a crazy amp and pedal straight in solution... might try to find a used Tone Master? Also... if you have a decent computer and interface why not use the Neural plug-ins? They have a standalone application you get to use without even using it in a DAW and theyre SUPER easy to use and sound INCREDIBLE and you dont have to have a cortex... you guys have prob covered all this or I missed it in this very chat but anyway... thanks for all you guys have done! Sorry about the book!

I never got anything out of my Helix. Now I'm shopping for a vintage tweed voiced for my 335. A clubman and a C30 would save me some money. But I'm thinking more of a blackface super and a tweed bandmaster, hoping I can get the right amount of gentle creamy breakup that's clean enough for 60's jazz and enough headroom for modernized early 60's electric blues thru a 335 at conservative volumes. There are 10 other directions I would also like to go -- jazzgrass, swing, rockabilly -- but the cost of gear is extravagant. I've totally given up on the possibility of descent emulation of vintage tube and hand crafted acoustic guitars as a way to save cost.

@@worshiptutorialsvintage fender tweeds are pricey. The prices are not in the stratosphere like vintage guitars or guitars made by notable luthiers, but they cost more than most new hand wired tube amps including clones.

The day that Billy Strings or Molly Tuttle or Phil Keggy pick up a bargin priced acoustic plugged into a Helix or a Quad with an IR will be the day I'm convinced the problem is with me.

Y’all should look into the Headrush Prime’s latency, it’s pretty bad… a rig with amp clone has 14ms latency, and a rig with a pedal clone and an amp clone is 26ms.

@@FabuBrik yeah, QC is great! I just really like a good desktop editor. QC is the future for sure. I hope Kemper comes in and takes their top spot back some day. They really created the industry but then sit there to long without movement.
