This is what my feed is giving me today. I was a ramp jumping Big Wheeler 70’s kid the first time I heard it. My mother said then that I was touched in a way she hasn’t seen. I’ve been watching people react like this to it on and off in between Bush Hogging Today. I’ve forgotten it. I stopped the Tractor, went home shut my door and cried for a while. Today I’m a care giver for my mother who doesn’t remember me or the song anymore. It just happened at the worst moment in time and but the best and I’ll never forget it

These brothers have been singing since children. Born in England then moved to Australia as small children. Made their first hit as teens there in the 60's. Moved back to England. Became wealthy as teens making hit after hit. Had hits in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Wrote and produced for their younger brother, Andy and Diana Ross, Kenny Rogers, Dionne Warwick, Barbara Streisand...and more. Others recorded their songs like Dean Martin, Elvis, Destiny's Child, Al Green....just to name a few. Barry is the only one living. They were very humble and kind musicians. They truly were the best!

On a more somber note I must give a lot of credit to Barry (the one in the middle with the great hair.) because his brothers are all in heaven. Just found your channel thanks to the algorithm and I really enjoyed your reaction. Some songs can really touch your soul, in this case the whole group touches your soul. And they do it with every song they made. You can't listen to any of their songs and not FEEL something. They also had a younger brother who had his own singing career. His name was Andy Gibb and he was a heartthrob in my childhood years. Try "Shadow Dancing" by Andy Gibb. His big brothers sing backup for most of his songs. Also, a bit of trivia that love to tell... Andy is the first artist to ever unseat a relative from the #1 song spot on the American Top 40. He unseated his big brothers from number one with one of his tracks. I can't remember which songs were involved though. Sadly, Andy was the first Gibb to pass away and he did so soon before his brothers were going to make him a full part of the Bee Gees. Anyway, your emotial, giddy reaction has made me a fan of you. I'm off to binge some more of your reactions.

It is called a falsetto, a method of voice production that men use to sing in a higher register than their normal voice. Many male singers use a falsetto, but Barry Gibb is considered one of the very best ever at it. And no, there was no such thing as auto-tune as it hadn't been invented yet - only talent. Please react to How Deep Is Your Love, one of many #1 hits they had. Barry uses more of his natural singing voice for most of the song, but it is one of the all-time great love songs; guaranteed to touch your soul and make you want to slow dance!

@@MimieBatte Falsetto is a difficult technique if pitch precision and clear lyrics are achieved; the Gibbs certainly mastered it with aplomb. They adopted it fairly late in their long career, as in one song Barry hit a note using the technique, which led to their producer asking them to try using falsetto exclusively for some songs.

I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! Thank you so much for this, they were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed, & they span over years, & crossed many genres 😍 I also believe, that if there is music in Heaven, it would sound like the Bee Gee's ❤️❤️❤️

@@kennethlalla1779 yes. He's the last. The four brothers we know as the Gibbs - Andy, Robin, Maurice and Barry - were superstars of the 1970s, crooning legendary disco songs in unmatchable falsettos. Andy Gibb, went the solo route, while his three brothers formed the hit machine the Bee Gees. Today, only Barry Gibb remains; twins Maurice Gibb and Robin Gibb, who were born Dec. 22, 1949, died in 2003 and 2012, respectively. The general public didn't realize how incredibly talented the Bee Gee's were because much of the industry downplayed disco music for many decades. Now, what do you think about them? I grew up in 70's loving the Bee Gee's because I grew up in a family of musicians and singers knowing just how difficult it is to sing at this level. Their harmonies are incredible, and I have yet, to hear anyone or group with their level of ability. Sadly, Barry is the only Bee Gee to still be alive. I play their music almost daily. They are incredible.

What a wonderful reaction! This is a deep rabbit hole you’ve started down & I think you’ll be amazed with all of their songs. These guys are the best with their harmonies. All three brothers have beautiful voices & all three sing lead vocals on various songs. The older brother, Barry, is primarily looked at as the leader, but Robin (on your left) has a very unique, beautiful voice. Maurice is Robin’s twin, & while he doesn’t take the lead a lot, he is a master at harmonizing. In an interview, Barry once said that Maurice instinctively knew how his voice should fit in. Unfortunately, Barry is the only one alive today.

Nobody can surpass the legendary Bee Gees in terms of songwriting and switching tones and tunes. They are incomparable every songs they compose were all hits. The middle Sir Barry Gibb and the twins Maurice and Robin. They are featured in the Book of Guiness as the most successful songwriters of all times.
