@@itsayswithoutgoing9571 Ren has an excellent acting skill.. all that artistic talent in one man. But I remember in the 60’s watching those TV evangelist preaching like that. I hated it as a kid ( changed the tv immediately) but got thrown back in time when Ren did it. Cracked me up. I’m just shocked I haven’t heard one reactor (that I’ve seen) say anything about it.

Love the way you brought up his use of pauses and silences. This is overlooked by so many people, and he does it so well. As usual, the production breakdown is awesome. Learning so much from every one of these reactions.😊

Wow, the isolated tracks add a whole new dimension to this song! I had no idea that the "pair of baggy jeans" part of the song was almost entirely him beat-boxing. You also focused attention on Ren's use of "space" in his work, allowing him to emphasize certain points. Yes!--Ren seems to be a master of "less is more."
@Skittenmeow

Thanks man. Ren has gotten me sharing things I never have before. Hadn't realised how many guilt and shame demons I was burying, but Ren's music and stories helped me expose them to light. Like lancing a deep abscess, full of toxicity like a ticking time bomb. Self surgery to purge that infection, before it has a chance to burst and kill me (metaphorically). Digging out and talking about the things that bring us guilt and shame is so absolutely necessary. I hadn't realised how much that self hatred was keeping me separate from living. I've had more gains psychologically, personally and externally since finding Ren. Didn't think I could change at 42, and some guilt I've been sitting on since 2010. It's not all healed, it will be a constant work in progress, but at least in "dancing" with the guilt and shame. Singing with them. Shoving them down left me partly dead

I am blown away by all his music but this one I can’t even explain how it sounds! Right after he says monster, when he says treble and all the ‘t’ sounds, etc all unite into an incredible song.

Oh I love how you separate the tracks. One of my fave things about Ren is how chunky his music is, so many levels to it. It’s cool to hear behind the vocals. And yeah, agree with the space comment… really gives a lot of dynamic.

I hadn't expected you to be the reason I thought about Ren's girth today, but here we are. 😂 I don't understand half the sounds/beats/bells on this one, but somehow he manages to make bumps and clanging that sounds like me falling over in an antique shop feel fun and melodic.

Although I don't watch all of your videos, I'm enjoying this style of breakdown/reaction you've been doing recently. Also as a sidenote, it is interesting to see that there seems to be at least some cross-over with those that enjoy music by Ren, BAND-MAID and Electric Callboy (as I do).

@@dicodec I think that in some cases it is an appreciation of actual musical talent/ability that leads to those same people who like 1 of those acts often liking the others as well. There are plenty of people out there who won't listen to something that they don't think is their 'sort of thing' but it seems there is an open-mindedness to at least some of the fanbases of the 3 acts I've mentioned meaning they will check out music from other genres (based on seeing same names commenting on videos by them). I may however be talking nonsense and it may just be coincidence... 🙂
