That's a great idea and I see that theme come up a lot on Bladeforums. I haven't had too many instances to loan out a knife, but when it comes up I usually just offer to do the cutting. Thank you for watching!

Thank you so much for the kind words, friend! My continuing goal is to carry mostly what I "need" with a little wiggle room for the fun stuff (life's too short, right?). This size pepper spray is light, compact, proven effective, and if it must be called into duty, the odds are high that everyone goes home at night (or to jail, or whatever). If used, one would still have some explaining to do, but at least murder/manslaughter likely wouldn't be on the list of offenses. Thanks for watching!

Thank you! Also, sorry for the abbreviated reply; I was at work on my phone. Those knives aren't really optional, per se. They're just other knives I'm currently carrying, off and on. I only carry one knife at a time, but I own so many I like to choose a different one every few days for fun, so on my EDC videos I like to show which models are currently being rotated through. When it comes to folding knives, conventional looks often take a back seat to functionality, for me. Hence, the Spydercos.

I would kill for that! A standard model with torx pivots and numerous tools that can be bought and swapped at will. Someone's gonna do it eventually, and they're gonna make a killing when they do. Tolerances and fit (considering pliers and different tool lengths) are gonna be a factor, but I'm sure someone will cook something up before long. Thanks for watching!

A lot of the time, I see folks implying that what they choose to carry is what's "right" and I also see others "correcting" people regarding their choices. I find that disappointing. There are so many different choices and options when it comes to daily "tools" that we carry that I see no need to "box myself in" and only carry this, or that. Everyone should carry what works for them, and encourage others to do the same. That's what makes the knife/EDC/camping/etc community so cool!
@ItsAWonderfulKnife

I hear that from folks often (I've mentioned it a few times in my videos), but in over a year of carry, I have never had an S-Biner come open on me, not even a little. I think I might just carry my keys differently and that helps them stay put. If you're interested, Nite Ize just released a new S-Biner that has locking gates; they won't open unless you disengage the locks first. Pretty slick.

...(continued)... As for a belt cutter and glass punch, it's really recommended that you have a separate tool for this included in your car. There are many inexpensive tools that do just that and can actually be discretely attached to your seatbelt. They make great gifts for friends and family so there's always one in the car, no matter who's driving. But like anything, it's going to come down to what works for each individual. Stay safe!

The S-biners are great, however I have had it open on me once. My former apartment required a keycard to get into the building, which was attached to my Sbiner. One day I took out the trash, came back to the door and couldn't find my bloody keycard attached! Turns out it fell off in my apartment as I attached it to my pants earlier. I did the same trick with mine by adding the heat shrink tubing. It works great!

Thanks, Michael; much appreciated! My knives tend to come from all over the place -- I'm constantly deal-hunting and I try to always buy at a bargain, or at least snag some free shipping. Good policy. I need one on occasion to deal with stubborn Christmas lights in December. Also had to use one when clearing the bathroom stack a while back. But in general, no, it's best to take care of roof business during the light of day.

Oh yeah and, i recommend the ''Exentri'' wallet.... It's a pretty small wallet! About as thick as your ''big skinny'' wallet! But shorter and smaller. Yeah, the screens on these newer phones are built to be pretty darn scratch resistant! I'll probably swap it out for a new phone come fall/winter anyway so a few scratches won't bug me too much. I've heard lots of folks mention stuff coming off their S-biners, but maybe I just carry mine differently? I tuck the keys into my pocket rather than allowing them to dangle off the back. I don't know. Thank you for watching!

Second, when I find myself in a situation that might require it (in a dark parking lot far from others, walking to my car early in the morning, out for a walk or in a strange or dicey part of town, etc.), I carry my pepper spray in my hand, ready to go. All the paracord really does is keep the canister from settling all the way at the bottom of my pocket, which would actually slow me down in retrieving it more than if it wasn't clipped.

I've been carrying my wallet in my front pocket for a year or two now. I enjoy it for security and so I'm not sitting on it all day. The shrink tubing is a great idea. Hi there! I'm not really worried about having my spray on my belt loop for two reasons: I have very carefully fused the paracord on the end to retain the canister without worry. However, it's also fused lightly enough that I can easily snap it free should I need to call the pepper spray into action right away. I just grab and yank in one motion and the paracord breaks at the joint. (continued...)

I haven't surveyed your other videos yet but would enjoy seeing more of your knife collection. Good video..

That's no pepperspray, but a prototype lightsaber knife that you have disguised... Cool stuff to see! A lot of seems so big to me, maybe because I always have my wallet in left front [it's big.. atm] and don't have much room. One thing I've looked into are lasers, great for attracting attention, man to car/opposite, pointing out things, distress signal. Found a small green one, with a LED, but they don't deliver.. Also I want to get rid of this google shit on u2b! Never give in, rather boycott and support Vimeo.

Ha, It does look like a lightsaber! I never even thought about it. I admit that when it's all laid out on video, it looks like a lot of stuff, but I promise you that all this stuff pretty much disappears in my pockets. In fact, the only two items that are really noticeable at all are my phone and pepper spray; everything else feels like I'm not even carrying it. I've been wanting a green laser for a long time, but something else always gets my dollars when I get close to buying one! And lastly, I agree with you whole-heartedly about the Google thing. I'm dealing with it so far, but it's pretty bad. I wish they'd just go back to the old way. Oh well. Thanks so much for your comments!
