Whoever filmed these videos is my hero. Like, what the fuck was he using in 96 to get this quality?! I am in awe. No matter how many times I watch these videos. There's a special place in Heaven for this guy.

love how this is almost as old as i am and yet it is STILL the best music out there. with Maynard's voice, Danny's amazing drumming, Adam's guitar and Justin's bass i don't understand how not everyone is listening to this.. definately one of my favorite songs, and the best Eulogy vid on here!

This song has always meant something special to me. I felt like I could cry, when he just yelled goodbye with feeling in the end. Amazing song. They really use music in a unique way. I love this band.

This performance was incredible. Maynard was flawless and killed that scream at the end!! Danny is the best drummer ever! And Adam was amazing. Justin too, it's too bad we didn't get to see him at all.

Maynard wasn't really flat on that last note. It started slightly flat, but he corrected it. Amazing lung capacity there. You try singing that song and all the way through then hitting that note at the end for as long as he did. I will say that by the time this tour got to St. Louis with Lollapalooza that year, they were ON. It was the most amazing show/experience.

Gotta love that extended outro. Adam realizing what's going on and turning to Danny like "WTF man, end the song" is gold and then that drum fill during the guitar rest is epic.

They really emphasize wanting their fans to actually go to their shows. A Tool concert isn't just a couple of guys playing music for an hour and a half, it's an experiance, the lights, the atmosphere, the theatrics, and then the music is the background. Or at least that's how Maynard wants it to be. Not saying I wouldn't be the first to buy such a dvd because I would be all over it lol

apophysis: i agree. the thing about 10,000 days is that it was so personal. in an interview once mjk said he had a difficult time performing those emotional songs night after night. still, nobody compares to TOOL. pure genius.

I was here. This was my 4th Tool show. However this was not Ca. first performance of Ænima album. That would be the Olympic Auditorium, befor Ænima was even finished in the studio. Good luck proving me wrong

@apophysis7 I think they really hit their mark with Lateralus. 10k Days seemed to lack quite a bit in terms of purpose and meaning as compared to Lateralus. Just my opinion, although I feel like they did well composing it, it seemed more like a random psychedelic prog-rock record than a Tool album. Still a great album. Jambi is such an amazing song, along with some sections in Rosetta Stoned, The Pot, and Wings.

Sadly, i sort of agree. I never saw any lateralus shows, but i did see one of the 10,000 tour. I imagine that third eye and the grudge must of owned ass. They are just getting older. They age especially shows on maynard.

You know that part in Zoolander where he calls a "eulogy" a "Eu-goog-a-ly" That would be great if Mayard busted that out "why then are you so surprised to hear your own Eugoogaly" that would make me laugh. Good luck not singing that everytime you hear this song from now on.

@arinross523 Cobain was a mediocre guitar player who needed Pat Smear to also play guitar to cover his mistakes during shows - I think you're clearly over looking a large portion of musicians considered to be among the best in modern times. Where's Jack White on your list? Geddy Lee? Buckethead? Serj Tankian? Danny Carrey? Jimmy Chamberland?

It's most likely not. Most of the shit that Tool publicly says is bullshit, because they never want to give you the real meanings of the songs so you can figure them out for yourself. Listen to the lyrics and the feel of the song. It sounds or feels nothing like a song about L Ron Hubbard.
