I immediately started thinking the same thing about the hazy graininess of the video as well! Like its some pro-shot live video of a psychedelic band from the 60s. Obviously the visual art on the projector screens certainly aids in that aesthetic :) Adam definitely has a cool eye and ear for those nuances. And whomever filmed this deserves commendable praise as well. It's amazing what people can do when they're passionate about something.

For when this was recorded (97 I’m guessing) it’s such an amazing quality on the audio. It’s funny how stuff that was recorded over he next 15 years wasn’t even this good. Hell its 2018 and people post “live” videos where the audio quality blows. Wish I would have seen tool in this era live.

@DrFHead Well that certainly wouldn't surprise me. I think Maynard is a very intelligent individual and surprisingly humble. If you are interested you may want to look up the Documentary/Movie called "Blood into Wine" He became interested in winemaking some years ago and decided to buy some land and try it. He is making Wine in AZ on a small scale. It's informative, funny and just a picture of the real MJK. He's a very likeable person outside of his music !
