I cried when i heard it for the first time. Ok, and the 2nd and 3rd time too ;) . Not only because of the genius of this masterpiece. Also cause the long road we´ve all tripped for 13 yeas, never giving up the hope for new material. I heard the old stuff EVERY FU**´n DAY !!! EVERY DAY ! And i never got bored of listening to the same songs. Tool is an experiance, not only music.

Carl Garrard Right Carl? Unfortunately Adam gets buried in the back when talks about Tool but not to me. He’s a phenomenal player with such a smooth unique style. He NEVER overdose it but knows exactly when to bring it and when to chill. To me Adam creates Tools aura that floats beautifully over the entire song. And he also has one of the greatest tones EVER 🤘

My favorite reactor to Tool, totally gets it and feels their vibes.Ive heard from a few that got to listen to the whole album in a special listen in the studio said that it is well worth the wait and there are solos by Adam and Danny that are unlike any previous album!Can't wait already pre ordered the CD. An example at the 5:49 mark the drums are in 11/8 while the polymeter is 12/8 and 5/4.

As you were talking about Maynard's singing, I was thinking to myself, "this guy must've listened to Beth Roars' react video reacting to his vocals. She is a vocal coach, and you articulated a lot of the same things she caught about the way he sings. Cool shit, dude.

bigrob966 Nah man never seen it. I have a long background in music myself. I’m more on the instrumental side with the likes of studying music theory, playing in multiple bands, recording, touring, record labels. I’ve actually recorded in the same studio Tools 10,000 days was recorded. Grandmaster Studios. That was before they recorded that album yet but same studio. I can’t sing for shit but I had the pleasure of playing with some amazing vocalist.

I just thought it was really cool that you analyzed Maynard's vocals in the same way as someone who is professionally trained to analyze vocals. I have watched a ton of your react videos(Gojira is life!), and it is obvious you have a lot of musical knowledge. I'd maybe peg you as a fellow drummer...? Keep doing you. What other band can give us this level of greatness after 25 plus years in the game? None I can think of. Most are touring and living off of old hits for the past 20 years. Tool fills a huge hole in the music industry (and life), for me an anyway.

Popped a couple caps and listened to the album all the way through a couple nights ago. I was not ready. I wept like an infant through at least half of it. It's indescribable. There's no way this is their last album.
