@eric8542005 Experimentation with any kind of drugs is pretty much a given with Maynard...he's talked about it, although not at length. But that being said, he's a PERFORMER. He's always taken his music/performance INCREDIBLY seriously. I highly doubt the dude has EVER been under the influence while onstage. In his book, "A Perfect Union of Contrary Things", he stresses how important his live performances are to him. I just can't see a man of his level of seriousness and overall gravitas going onstage (at the giant fuckin' Reading Festival, at that!) in any kind of altered state. It doesn't really compute.

@intussunt4278
5 жыл бұрын
@@unowhavethebiggay1430 he is completely sober. He is making a point. The way he is standing is mocking heroin users and the pink onsie is to signify a toddler. He is giving the audience the perception of a drug addict trying to get clean. He has big balls to do that in front of potentially hundreds of drug addicts. But he is just trying to give a little light into the issue. Most of his addiction related songs you can pick out lyrics that are sympathetic, so I think he has a pretty good grasp on drug addiction. It can make people the shittiest beings on Earth but it's still sad to see them stumbling around like toddlers unable to get clean again.
