Most people already have all that stuff at homez but if they didn't it still wouldn't cost anymore than £15, most of that price would be the hacksaw, everything else like the nuts and bolts would be a grand total of £3

if you do not hafe a pipe wrench, you can use this self made tool, but it takes time. so just buy a wrench. it is easyer to handle and its faster to use it than the self made tool

Too many haters in the comments. Some people just like making stuff. Especially if it's different. I do have a suggestion for the creator for your next project. An adjustable extractor for rounded off/damaged bolt heads. That's where I thought you were headed with this. But something with more bite than a bike chain. Thanks for the content!

You forgot the drill and the metal not wood bit. Or start with a wood bit break it go down the hardware store go past the wrenches and sockets on the left then buy a new one. Turn around walk past the wrenched and the socket s. Then walk home cause for some reason your bikes not working at the moment. Wow. Not only clever but timesaving If someone I hire ever pulls one of those out to work for.me or.on something I own I am definitely hire someone else.

The real world application is, you need a crescent wrench, but don't have one and all the stores are closed, or closed down, but you're in luck, you saw this short and have all the things to make this.

@@davebryan1890 Wrong, "bro." They're not just pins. They're rivets. Meaning if you don't grind them down, the peening will still be sticking out the sides of them and you have to use a punch to get them all the way through the link's rollers, damaging the roller bushings. If you grind them flat, once they are pressed past the outer plate, they just fall through the rollers without needing punched through.

@@davebryan1890 It's all good. I work with larger sized industrial chain. At a certain size they do away with the riveted pins and just have a cotter pin on each pin. I guess it wouldn't matter damaging the roller bushing in this instance. It's not being used to transmit power.

I feel like if you have the resources and tools to create that, then you would probably also have an adjustable wrench already. Or possibly a wrench set... or a socket set... or some channel locks. Cool idea tho. I just feel like that will break before actual turning force is applied.

Prob the best set of metal drill bits I've ever seen he goes through metal like i gonthrough pine. And yes I know it's speeded up. Если бы этот чувак, был способен что то полезное придумать...для начала он бы знал, что лупить по губкам тисков нельзя, для этого на тисках есть "наковаленка". Второе...уже в начале понятно, что это полное г...но. посверлить в гайке-барашек отверстие, ослабив, оставив стенки по полмиллиметра. И для данных гаек, используется чаще Ст.3, именуемая доктором Дью, как сталь, пластелин 3. Последнее, эта конструкция, была проверена вышеупомянутым доктором Дью - это полная х...ня! Хотя это и так ясно
