At least somple people could realize there were scientists and inventors outside the ones from the countries that have written the history for the last centuries (i.e. USA now, UK and France before). He could have said for example that three elements in the periodic table were named by someone from spain. That would have been a more useful and interesting fact than the "paelia" that is only one of the many typical dishes (and is not even typical everywhere). He even compares the spanish food with the mexican, but they have quite little in common...

señor-achopijo don't want to intrude, just point out that "can" cames from latin ("canis, canis"), and the root may be find on spanish words as "cánido" or "canino", but the word "can" doesn't exist on spanish (but it exist at "gallego" and mean dog). The name of the island was puted by the Roman Empire, so, the name is a latin name. And, if you want to know it, our peninsula is called "Ibérica", that means "rabit land"

+The real Jared 16 they technically are. Many mexicans have spaniard ancestry including myself. Both countries have the same colonial style buildings. But the difference is, mexico is a melting pot. Theres spaniards and alot of germans, natives, mixed race and some asians. Mexico was a spanish province. They're not entirely the same but spain is like the birthmother of Mexico lol.

Since I am from Valencia I cant help it but say that: NEVER buy "paella" in a supermarket, airport... I love paella, but well, I am from Valencia and people use to love whatever food its typical from their region so I cant tell how "nice" paella is, but for sure I can tell that no valencian citizen would order paella outside Valencia (Alicante, Castellón and Valencia). The description of "paella" in the video is messed up, just search in the web for it if you are interested. The ingredients used in paella are logically those that grow in Valencia, so either you order paella in Valencia or you import those ingredients or whatever you eat will be maybe NICE/AWFULL but logically wont be Paella. I think the spanish dish that barely EVERY foreign person love is "Spanish omelet - Tortilla española a.k.a Tortilla de patata", the ingredients used can be found in most countries, its simple, cheap and tasty, just search on youtube for knowing how to cook it, I hope you enjoy it. Best wishes from Valencia, Spain. If

+nuras ava so...wait i didn,t understand: you are saying that Paella isn,t good if it,s not eaten in Valencia? or made in Valencia? what?? O.O i live in Andalucia and here is completely normal to do a homemade paella...and it,s delicious. I even once went to Valencia and ordered a Paella there: not much different. Of course i,m giving credit to where you live because it,s the main dish there (i,m guessing)...but other places in Spain can make it just as good or similar. Here where i live there,s sea, so fish are commonly catched and there,s no problem with vegetables...we grow them here too you know. But i definitily not recommend buying it from a supermarket as you said...you can notice the difference in the quality. If i,m eating Paella, i choose to eat it homemade please.

+nuras ava "+nuras ava so...wait i didn,t understand: you are saying that Paella isn,t good if it,s not eaten in Valencia? or made in Valencia? " --> Made in Valencia, you can it wherever you want :) I am not saying paella isnt good if its not made in Valencia (puaj!!! hehehe) any paella is good as long as it tastes good for you. But: "Paella" is just the pan you use to cook rice, when I speak about "paella" I mean "paella valenciana = with chicken and rabbit", here in Valencia we just say paella refering to that, but there are more ways or typical ways to cook rice in a paella, like paella de marisco, arroz negro, arroz a banda, paella de verduras... the point is that in Valencia there is a lagoon called La albufera where we grow up rice, thats why pepole here do "paella", in the "Huerta" we grow different vegetables and those are the ones we use in our paellas, the seafood (marisco) and fishes that you can catch in the middle sea (mediterraneo) is what we use in our paella de marisco, arroz a banda etc. I mean: Logically every ingredient of every type of paella here are from here. You can make "our" paella everywhere as long as you have the same ingredients. I dont know if in other places paella tastes better or not (puaj lol) but for sure it cant be the same as here. Rice must be think and short so that it absorved the taste of ingredients etc and I ve seen "papaellas made outside Valencia with "chineese" rice, long and thin... again that doesnt mean that it doesnt taste good (puaj) it just means it is not like the paella from here

Actually original Spanish paella has no sea food. It was a dish for peasants and people of low resources who lived of agriculture or farming. The original paella had the things that these people could find in their envirnment, which included chicken, rabbit, several vegetables and even land snails. The sea food version is a more modern approach, although delicious.

@Hugh1714

No, when you say Brazil, Germany or Italy, you say football. France has only won 1 cup, so to talk about their football program is like talking about United States and football or something. They might have a big fan base, but their teams have never been that great. If that were the case, then Top10Archive should talk about football in every country video they do.. Some (most) people aren't obsessed with football.. So I don't think it was worth mentioning their Spains football program.

limonade I meant to say Spain, don't know where France came from. I said Spain the 2nd time though, lol. I bet when they cover Brazil and Italy, they will talk about football. Yes, Spain has won championships but it's not the highlight of the country. Brazil wins like every other world cup, that makes more sense to talk about football in their video than in Spain. Top10Archive could basically talk about football in every European country if that were the case, and that would just be boring and monotonous. It's a 10 minute video, they can't cram in the entire history of a country in that amount of time. I understand your are a spanish football fan, but it's not like they deliberately left it out. They probably read 100's of facts about the country and narrowed it down to the 10 most interesting - and "Spain has won 1 world cup" probably wasn't that interesting.
